The cost to acquire a Yankee in Fantasy Baseball is usually high. For Aaron Hicks, it wasn’t. That’s why he was a great target in the middle rounds. He didn’t cost much, and while it has taken him some time to get going, he’s beginning to flash his upside.

Hicks hit three home runs against the Red Sox Sunday night in an 11-1 win. Hicks went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and is batting .258 with 39 runs, 14 home runs, 38 RBIs, six stolen bases and an .846 OPS in 64 games.

Aaron Judge hit his 22nd homer, and Gleyber Torres hit his 15th home run and has 42 RBIs.

Luis Severino allowed two hits and three walks with six strikeouts in 6.2 scoreless innings. He is 12-2 with a 1.98 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 138:29 K:BB ratio in 118.1 innings.

Mark Melancon had trouble in the ninth inning and allowed a run and three hits and Will Smith came in and got the final out for the save. Expect Melancon and Smith to get some save chances.

Remember when Kenley Jansen was struggling? Seems like a distant memory after he pitched a scoreless inning for his 22nd second save Sunday. He has converted 20 straight saves and has allowed three runs over his last 27.1 innings.

Nolan Arenado homered for the third time in four games Sunday. He has 21 home runs and 59 RBIs.

Brandon Morrow got four outs to get his 18th save Sunday in an 11-10 win for the Cubs.

Jon Lester allowed four runs – two earned – and allowed nine hits, three walks and struck out five to get a win. He also hit a three-run homer. He is 11-2 with a 2.25 ERA.

Javier Baez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and two RBIs and went 2-for-6 with two RBIs Saturday. He has 16 home runs and 61 RBIs.

A.J. Minter pitched a scoreless ninth to get a save Sunday. Arodys Vizcaino is expected to return Monday, but hold Minter until Vizcaino proves he’s healthy.

Mike Foltynewicz threw five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts, one hit and three walks. He has a 2.02 ERA.

Freddie Freeman hit a two-run homer Sunday and is batting .315 with 16 home runs and 56 RBIs.

Jose Peraza has been hot and hit a grand slam Sunday. He has 10 hits in his last 26 at-bats.

Matt Harvey is turning his season around. He threw 5.2 scoreless innings, walked none, allowed two hits and struck out six in a win. He has allowed three runs in his last three starts.

Jeurys Familia struck out two in a scoreless inning for his 15th save.

Steven Matz allowed one unearned run in 5.1 innings and allowed three hits, two walks and struck out six to get a win. He has a 3.46 ERA.

Nick Castellanos hit a grand slam for his 13th homer Sunday. He has 53 RBIs. He has homered three times in the last four games.

Evan Gattis hit a pair of home runs Sunday and has 17 home runs.

Blake Snell pitched 7.2 innings and allowed one run, four hits, one walk and struck out ten. He has struck out ten in two straight starts. He has a 2.24 ERA with 123 strikeouts in 108 innings.

Sergio Romo allowed a run but picked up his eighth save in a win over the Astros. He also got a save Saturday.

Charlie Morton pitched well but took a loss against the Rays. He allowed two runs, six hits, walked two and struck out 11 in 6.2 innings. He has a 2.55 ERA and 133 strikeouts in 102 innings.

Manny Machado had multiple hits for the third straight game and hit his 21st homer Sunday.

Mark Trumbo hit a pair of home runs Sunday.

Kevin Gausman allowed two runs in eight innings to get a win over the Angels. He walked none and struck out two and is 4-6 with a 4.05 ERA.

James Paxton threw eight scoreless innings and allowed two hits, two walks and struck out 11 in a 1-0 win over Royals. He is 8-2 with a 3.39 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 145:32 K:BB ratio in 111.2 innings.

Edwin Diaz picked up his major-league leading 32nd save.

Chris Sale dominated the Yankees, throwing seven scoreless innings with one hit, one walk and struck out 11. He has a 2.41 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and a 164:29 K:BB ratio in 116 innings.

Rafael Devers went 5-for-5 with three runs, a double and a grand slam in a win over the Yankees Saturday.

Nick Markakis went 2-for-3 with a homer and five RBIs Saturday. He is batting .326.

Luke Weaver allowed eight runs and ten hits in 4.2 innings against the Braves Saturday. He has a 5.16 ERA and should be benched.

Max Fried struck out 11 in 6.2 scoreless innings, allowing four hits and three walks in a win over the Cardinals.

Wade Davis was unavailable Saturday after pitching two straight days, and Adam Ottavino picked up his third save.

German Marquez allowed one run and two hits with nine strikeouts in eight innings to beat the Dodgers Saturday.

Seranthony Dominguez pitched a scoreless inning to get his seventh save.

Brad Hand has struggled lately and allowed two runs and three hits Saturday, but was able to get the save. He has a 12.60 ERA in his last six games. He has 23 saves.

Shelby Miller made his second start since returning from injury, and it was another bad one. He allowed six runs, nine hits, one walk with six strikeouts in five innings. He is 0-2 with an 11.42 ERA.

Dereck Rodriguez allowed six hits, two walks and struck out five in 6.1 scoreless innings in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Mahle struck out 12 and allowed three runs – one earned – in 5.2 innings in a no-decision against the Brewers.

Matt Olson hit his 18th homer Saturday.

Jose Ramirez hit his 24th homer, and Francisco Lindor hit No. 20 on Saturday. Lindor added another Sunday, and Edwin Encarnacion hit his 20th for the Indians.

Mike Clevinger allowed eight hits, three runs, and struck out five in six innings in a win over the A’s.

Joakim Soria struck out three in 1.2 innings for his 12th save Sunday.

Justin Verlander had a rare bad start, allowing five runs on nine hits in five innings. He has a 2.12 ERA and a 0.86 WHIP.

Kyle Barraclough struck out two in a scoreless inning for his eighth save Saturday. He has a 0.99 ERA and 0.74 WHIP.

Jacob deGrom allowed three runs and six hits with eight strikeouts in six innings to take a loss against the Marlins. He has a 1.84 ERA and 1.02 WHIP.

Walker Buehler was sent to the minor leagues and will likely make two starts there.

Ryan Tepera was placed on the DL with right elbow inflammation. Tyler Clippard converted the save Friday.

The Angels are expected to activate Shohei Ohtani this week to use as a designated hitter. He’s unlikely to pitch this season.

Lorenzo Cain said there’s a really good chance he will be activated from the DL when eligible on Wednesday.

Christian Yelich missed his third consecutive game Sunday with a sore back.

The Brewers sent Orlando Arcia to Triple-A.


The Rockies sent Jon Gray to Triple-A and called up outfielder Raimel Tapia.

Vince Velasquez was hit on the forearm with a line drive and picked the ball up with his left hand and made the throw to first base to get them out but was placed on the DL with a right arm contusion.

The Orioles sat the struggling Jonathan Schoop over the weekend to give him a mental break. He will return Tuesday.

Noah Syndergaard will throw a simulated game Tuesday.

Carlos Carrasco allowed one hit and struck out four innings in a rehab start at Double-A. He threw 58 pitches and will start for the Indians Friday against the A’s.

Matt Chapman is on track to return from the DL Tuesday.

Nick Kingham will start Monday for the Pirates, taking the spot of Chad Kuhl, who is on the DL with a forearm injury.

Ryan Zimmerman will hit in a simulated game Monday.

Jorge Polanco is expected to be with the Twins Monday as his 80-game suspension ends.

Dexter Fowler is on paternity leave and will be away for a few days. Tyler O’Neill will be called up to take his place.

Gary Sanchez is expected to return around the All-Star break.

Leonys Martin was placed on the 10-day DL with a left hamstring injury.

Addison Russell had his left hand stepped on during a collision and will be examined Tuesday.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Max Muncy would be the every day second baseman.
