College Production
Bowers was considered an elite tight end prospect before even committing to the Bulldogs. He was named to MaxPrep's 2020 Preseason All-American Team out of Napa High School in Napa, California. After enrolling at Georgia, Bowers made an immediate impact, leading the team in receptions (56), receiving yards (882), and touchdowns (13) en route to a national title. Bowers also garnered All-American and All-SEC accolades and won the Shaun Alexander Award. Won the John Mackey Award in 2022 and repeated All-American and All-SEC honors after once again leading the Bulldogs in all receiving categories and winning another national title. Concluded his collegiate career with a third consecutive stint as the program's leading receiver and became the first-ever player to win consecutive Mackey Awards as the nation's top tight end.
