Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 15. We will continually update this list.
Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers – Another damaging blow to an already decimated quarterback position. Herbert fractured his index finger on his throwing hand and will miss the remainder of the 2023 season. Easton Stick is next man up for the Chargers, who look destined for an offseason reboot with a new staff.
Josh Jacobs (RB) Las Vegas Raiders – A knee injury forced Jacobs to leave the Raiders’ Week 14 loss early. Also, with the club on a short week, Jacobs is unlikely to practice at all. Therefore, he should be considered questionable to doubtful to play on Thursday. We will have updates in Discord as soon as news breaks.
Alexander Mattison (RB) Minnesota Vikings – Mattison injured his ankle on Sunday and is looking doubtful for Week 15. Therefore, Ty Chandler is a top waiver wire target.

C.J. Stroud (QB) Houston Texans – Stroud took a late hit and had his head bounce off the notorious MetLife Stadium turf. He is now in the NFL’s concussion protocol, which puts his Week 15 status in doubt. Nearly two-thirds of players who are diagnosed with a concussion miss at least one week. However, Stroud will have the full week to prepare for the Titans if he can be cleared.
Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – After a long stint on IR, Jefferson’s highly anticipated return was brief. A chest injury forced him from last week’s game. However, there was some good news after the game. Jefferson is day-to-day.
Vikings’ HC Kevin O’Connell considers WR Justin Jefferson day-to-day with the chest injury he suffered Sunday vs. the Raiders and the team believes he has a chance to play Saturday vs. the Bengals.

Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans – The Texans were decimated by injuries in New York. Collins suffered a calf ailment in the first half and was unable to return. With QB C.J. Stroud and WR Tank Dell absent, Houston desperately needs Collins to be healthy to have any shot at earning an AFC Wildcard.
Dalton Schultz (TE) Houston Texans – Schultz practiced last week, but he was held out. Therefore, Schultz should return to face the Titans.
Jonathan Taylor (RB) Indianapolis Colts – The Colts host Minnesota on Saturday. That gives Taylor less of a chance of returning this week. Shane Steichen indicated that he expected Taylor to return at some point this season. Could be coachspeak, but doesn’t sound overly optimistic for Week 15.
Brian Robinson (RB) Washington Commanders – A hamstring injury forced Robinson from Washington’s last game. However, the Commanders had a bye last week, which gave Robinson an extra week to recover. There have been no reports out of Washington. Therefore, we will update Robinson’s status in Discord as the week progresses.
Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers activated Palmer from IR. He should play this week.
Christian Kirk (WR) Arizona Cardinals – The groin/core injury that knocked Kirk out of Jacksonville’s Week 13 game resulted in Kirk being placed on IR. Therefore, his fantasy season is over.
Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Mike Tomlin already announced that Pickett will not play in Week 15. Accordingly, Mitchell Trubisky will nab the start in Indianapolis.
Devin Duvernay (WR/KR) Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens put Duvernay on IR with a back injury.
