The Cycle 7/24

The Cycle

Bieber – Hes been excellent over his last 7 starts with 5 quality starts while striking out 6 or more in every start. He faces a Toronto team which struck out 9 times the last time they saw him. He’s a bit expensive, but a 5x-6x upside is absolutely there tonight.

Lopez – There’s certain times to ride the Lopez train when he’s such a streaky pitcher. Coming off back to back quality starts and 15 combines k’s in his last 2 starts, he faces an anemic marlins team that sucks. Lopez has the stuff to overpower this team, and is prices low enough to give you 5x.

Lyles – He was so dominant early in the season, and just fell off out of no where. St. Louis is a team we’ve been picking on with pitchers recently, and they just can’t seem to string a ton of meaningful hits together. Lyles looked strong last start striking out 7 Phillies and has dominated this cardinals team this year striking out 6 in his only start.

The Bats

Dodgers – Going back to the dodger lefties again tonight. Barria doesn’t keep the ball in the park.

Washington – Freeland has got to be the biggest disappointment on this Rockies staff this year. Righties and Soto will make it tough for him again tonight.

Minnesota – soft tossing lefties against Cruz….we’ve seen the outcomes. Garver is destroying lefties, and Sano looks like he’s heating up.
