Rose’ WGC FIRESTONE PGA DFS Plays

Players will either choose to lay up on the flat or try to reach the top of the ridge with driver. A series of fairway bunkers must be avoided. An undulating green with a deep front bunker adds to the difficulty of this hole.

No cut this week, so we need to focus on consistency throughout the entire weekend. The course is LONG, so we’re looking for the 300+ yard hitters.

DJ – will be chalky and expensive. Averaged 69 last year and 68 in 2016 here. He does average a hair over 314 yards per drive. 2016 winner

Matsuyama – won this tournament last year with a 16 under. Averaged just over 68 a round. Not really a long hitter averaging under 300 yards per drive, but is consistent on the course.

Fowler – he’s averaged 69 or better each round in 2 out of the last 3 years. Averaging around 305 per drive.

Finau – 2nd in drive distance with 317 yards per drive but has yet to play in this tournament. He has finished in the top 3 in all of the majors this year, very consistent.

Rahm- just feels like a Rahm week. He’s been a little out of wack recently, but can put things together very quickly. 5 top 5’s since the masters.

Woods – 8 wins at this course, enough said.

Day – he does have 2 wins on the year so far, but still seems to be the forgotten man. Top 20 in his last 2 starts.

Watson – he was the runner up here in 2015, also has 2 top 20’s in the last 2 starts here.

Thomas – 6th in par 4 scoring and 2nd in fedex points. Finished 33rd and 28th in this tournament.

WINNER – RAHM
