Start ‘Em
49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo
Ignore the data in this matchup and get Garoppolo into your lineups, especially if you have bye week challenges. The ‘Hawks defense has some stars, some holes, and we saw Jameis Winston expose them in Week 9. Garoppolo will also have to keep pace with Russell Wilson.
Titans RB Derrick Henry
This recommendation is strictly based on data that the Chiefs defense is allowing 24.72 PPG to RBs, fourth-most in the league. Henry is coming off his most productive game of the year, where he matched his season-high in TDs per game (2) and his highest reception total (3). Henry has the opportunity to be a top-five RB in Week 10.
Cardinals WRs Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald
Did you see Russell Wilson torch the Bucs defense in Week 9 for five TDs and the tremendous fantasy performances from WRs Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf? Tampa Bay’s defense is allowing 30.35 PG to WRs, dead last in the NFL. Fitzgerald started the season hot but has been weak of late averaging just 4.06 PPG over his last three games. These numbers have some fantasy owners pondering whether to bench the veteran WR. Kirk is coming off a 3.6-pt Week 9. Get over it, move on and get both WRs into your lineups vs. the Bucs.

Jets WR Jamison Crowder
I believe this may be the first time I’m endorsing a Jets WR to start. Crowder was an absolute beast in Week 9, and that trend should continue in the battle of NY. The Giants’ defense, especially the secondary, is struggling. The G-Men are allowing 27.97 PPG to WRs, fourth-most in the NFL. If the weather is not an issue, the data indicates this game should be high scoring, which should help Crowder produce solid PPR stats.
Buccaneers TE OJ Howard
Coming off an injured hamstring, head coach Bruce Arians indicated this week that Howard would be ready to face the Cardinals. It’s no fantasy secret that the Cardinals struggle to defend the TE position. Arizona is allowing 15 PPG to TEs.
Sit ‘Em
Falcons QB Matt Ryan
According to the data in which the Saints allow 18.8 PPG to QBs, Matt Ryan doesn’t seem like a bad play. If you don’t have a bye week issues and another QB on your roster, consider playing them over Ryan. Ryan’s injury seems to be somewhat of a mystery still, and the Falcons are potentially a sinking ship. I would not be surprised if the veteran QB struggles in his return to action, given the Saints’ ability to rush the passer.
Bears RB Tarik Cohen
I’ve seen Cohen ranked high this week in the 18 to 23 range. The Lions are allowing 26.44 PPG to RBs, most in the NFL. Cohen was a fantasy hero last year and had massive games for teams as their RB2 or flex. But the truth is Cohen’s biggest fantasy score in 2019 is 12.9 points. Montgomery is featured at RB, and the Bears don’t use Cohen as a slot receiver or strictly as a pass-catcher out of the backfield as much as they should. Prove me wrong, Cohen.
Rams WR Robert Woods
Through eight games, Woods has averaged a marginal 12.27 PPG. That’s not the high-flying Rams WR production that many were seeking when they drafted Woods in the fifth round in high-stakes leagues. The mediocre numbers have come even while Brandin Cooks has battled health and concussion issues.
