The Cycle

The Staff

Bauer – This is just a smash spot for Bauer in Miami. Miami has not been as pesky as they usually are, while the bottom of this lineup is just pitiful. Bauer is going to rack up a ton of k’s against this team, maybe 10+

(Risk factor 3)

Velasquez – He finally looks healthy this year. VV has only 1 quality start this year, but does have the comfort of pitching at home tonight. He’s racked up 14 k’s in his last 2 starts while walking 4. He needs to keep his pitch count low tonight, and if he does expect another QS and win.

(Risk factor 5)

Buehler – Gets a huge ballpark tonight, against a team who’s only worry is doubles. Coming off a game where he had just 1 strikeout, Buehler should come in low owned with massive upside tonight.

(Risk factor 4)

Shot in the dark arm

Canning – huge k upside from the young kid.

The Bats

Philly – Turnbull won’t be able to get his fastball over against the top of the lineup. Rhys sends one the left center in the first.

(1-8)

Pittsburgh – Bullpen arm starting tonight in Sampson. He’s a guy who doesn’t miss a lot of bats already and has already been blown up in one of his few starts.

(1-6)

Boston – They could be turning over a bit after last nights outburst. This team will revolve around the bottom of the order producing in order to get the big bats to drive them in.

Houston – Pineda has been crushed giving up 10 runs over over his last 2 starts. Houston has one of the hottest hitters in the league in Josh Reddick. It’s also a matter of time til Yuli Gurriel explodes for a 2 homer game.

(1-7)
