The Cycle

The Staff

Bauer – This is just a smash spot for Bauer in Miami. Miami has not been as pesky as they usually are, while the bottom of this lineup is just pitiful. Bauer is going to rack up a ton of k’s against this team, maybe 10+

(Risk factor 3)

Velasquez – He finally looks healthy this year. VV has only 1 quality start this year, but does have the comfort of pitching at home tonight. He’s racked up 14 k’s in his last 2 starts while walking 4. He needs to keep his pitch count low tonight, and if he does expect another QS and win.

(Risk factor 5)

Buehler – Gets a huge ballpark tonight, against a team who’s only worry is doubles.Continue reading ...

PITCHERS

Trevor Bauer

Bauer is the most expensive pitcher on both slates and for good reason. He has pitched very well so far this year striking out 45 batters over 40 innings and posting a 1.99 ERA.… Continue reading ...

NFC East Draft Review (Fantasy offense only)

Dallas Cowboys

Dallas went out and traded for WR Amari Cooper last season, so they spent much of this draft trying to shore up their defense. However, they drafted two young RBs who do have the potential to make the roster and play in case of an injury to Ezekiel Elliott.

RB Tony Pollard—Pollard ran a 4.5 at the Combine, only to run 4.3 at his Memphis Pro Day. Assuming we split the difference, he is a 4.4 runner who can catch the ball out of the backfield who might be good enough to become the RB2 behind Zeke.… Continue reading ...

NFC West Draft Review (Fantasy offense only)

Arizona Cardinals

Overall, the Cardinals did well as they added their QB of the future in Murray, but they were also smart enough to surround him with weapons that he can use immediately. Isabella and Butler will join Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk in what should be one of the better receiving corps in the league.

QB Kyler Murray—Could be an immediate Fantasy starter in 2019

WR Andy Isabella—Should be a beast as a returner and I expect 40-50 catches too.… Continue reading ...
