Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 1
We are now just days away from the 2022 NFL season beginning, but plenty of fantasy leagues were drafted weeks […]
It seems like the 2022 NFL season is flying by. About the only thing keeping up with that brisk pace is roster depletion. The injuries keep mounting up and the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 6 is vital to helping […]
Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered free agents to target ahead of Week 6, with FAAB recommendations.
FAABÂ denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Kenneth Walker III (RB) Seattle Seahawks (75%+ FAAB) – Another unfortunate injury to Rashaad Penny might have unlocked the biggest acquisition of the 2022 season. Once thrust into action, Walker took every carry for Seattle and played nearly every down. He showed tremendous burst and vision and broke a 69-yard TD. Available in more than half of ESPN leagues, Walker is going to cost a substanisial bid. And, he’s going to be worth it. If the Seahawks continue to look this good, Walker offers league-winning upside.
Taysom Hill (TE) New Orleans Saints (10% FAAB) – Somebody is likely to overbid for Hill bases on last week’s blow-up game. He’s certainly worth a solid bid but proceed with caution. Hill is not drawing targets and his role has increased with Andy Dalton filling in. When Jameis Winston returns, there is no guarantee the Saints will be willing to give as many red-zone snaps to Hill. Cash in while you can, but understand the risk/reward.

With four games in the books, it’s doubtful anyone has escaped the rash of injuries and disappointing starts. With so many first-rounders underperforming or unavailable, the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 5 has never been more important. Here are the […]
Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered free agents to target ahead of Week 5, with FAAB recommendations.
FAABÂ denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Mike Boone (RB) Denver Broncos (15% FAAB) – Melvin Gordon would be the obvious add but he is rostered in three-quarters of ESPN leagues. Gordon also saw himself benched after another costly fumble. That opened the door for Boone to average 6.7 yards per carry against the Raiders in relief of Javonte Williams. Boone also ran 12 routes to Gordon’s 5. Williams’s season is over with a serious knee injury, so Boone should be a priority add in all formats.
Raheem Mostert (RB) Miami Dolphins (13% FAAB) – Now rostered in 53% of ESPN leagues, Mostert took a real step towards being Miami’s best fantasy RB. He out-snapped Chase Edmonds 46-18 and had 10 more opportunities in Cincinnati. Edmonds will remain involved in the passing game but for now, Mostert looks like the better overall fantasy asset.

Looking back on Week 3, it feels like it was a remarkable slate of games. Mostly for the wrong reasons. The Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 4 is one of the best ways fantasy managers can improve their odds at […]
Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered free agents to target ahead of Week 4, with FAAB recommendations.
FAABÂ denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears (65% FAAB) – Without definite word on the right knee injury to David Montomery, be prepared to go “all in” for Khalil Herbert. Montgomery appeared to twist his knee awkwardly, which often means MCL or PCL damage. It could also be a severe high-ankle sprain. Regardless, it looks like Chicago’s starter will be sidelined for several games and Herbert flashed his RB1 upside. After Montgomery’s exit, Herbert did something Montgomery has never done in the NFL- rushed for 157 yards and two scores. Chicago’s anemic passing attack is historically bad, which means Herbert could see a significant workload for multiple weeks. Be prepared to make a substantial waiver claim, but you just might land an RB1 for the next month or longer.
Jamaal Williams (RB) Detroit Lions (55% FAAB) – We’ve been on Williams since this summer, so he’s probably not available in your league. However, he is unrostered in over half of ESPN leagues. Williams already has stand alone weekly value. But, with D’Andre Swift now slated to miss at least two games

Week 2 was filled with drama and several players did not emerge unscathed. Although it is too early to panic, the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 3 can help you fortify your roster to overcome the carnage of a wild […]
Here are some of the top fantasy-relevant free agents to target ahead of Week 3, with FAAB recommendations.
FAABÂ denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Garrett Wilson (WR) New York Jets (12% FAAB) – Still available in about half of ESPN leagues, Wilson is a must-add in every format. With a whopping 14 targets, 8 receptions, 102 yards, and a pair of touchdowns, Wilson broke out in Week 2. Although he has played fewer snaps than Elijah Moore and Corey Davis, Wilson still has 22 targets in his first two NFL games. The rookie is a viable weekly WR3 with weekly WR2 upside. He should be rostered in all leagues and is worth a sizable FAAB bid.
Noah Brown (WR) Dallas Cowboys (5% FAAB) – Don’t look now, but Noah Brown enters Week 2 as a top-20 PPR receiver. And the loss of Dak Prescott didn’t seem to hurt his productivity. Brown has five receptions in each of the Cowboys’ first two contests. Last week, with Cooper Rush under center, Brown snagged all five of his targets for 91 yards and a score. The 6-foot-2 225-pound Ohio State product appears to be entrenched as Dallas’s No. 2 wideout. Even when Michael Gallup returns, Brown should remain a viable fantasy WR 3/4. Last season, the Cowboys ran ’11’ personnel on 67% of their snaps. Brown is barely rostered in fantasy leagues but that is about to change.

That season-opening slate of games was certainly something. With all that went wrong, you’re probably going to need to add reinforcement via the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 2. However, keep in mind this is only one week. Less than […]
However, keep in mind this is only one week. Less than 6% of the regular season. While it’s perfectly fine to beef up your roster, don’t overreact to some of the unforeseen performances from Sunday. Keep your eye on the prize but stay level-headed.
Here are the top fantasy football waiver wire adds: week 1 to consider, with FAAB recommendations.
FAABÂ denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Jeff Wilson (RB) San Francisco 49ers (15% FAAB) – Wilson was the only RB other than Elijah Mitchell to see the field on Sunday. Once Mitchell exited, Wilson got 9 carries and ran 10 routes. With Mitchell (knee) sidelined for multiple weeks, Wilson should have a viable path to weekly RB2 duties. He should be aggressively targeted as one of the top waiver wire adds this week.
Jahan Dotson (WR) Washington Commanders (12% FAAB) – Although he is rostered in just over half of ESPN leagues, Dotson should be considered the top priority if he’s available on the wire. Dotson was in on just one less snap than Terry McLaurin and ran one less route. But it was Dotson who drew Carson Wentz‘s praise all summer. And that connection continued into the regular season as the first-round rookie caught a pair of touchdown receptions in his NFL debut. Dotson is indisputably Washington’s No. 2 wideout and should be rostered in all leagues moving forward.

It all started back in spring or the summer. All the mock drafts, research, sleeper articles, and strategy advice. The countless hours spent preparing for this very scenario: survive until Week 17. Make it to the finals. Congratulations on advancing […]
Congratulations on advancing through what will undoubtedly go down the most challenging season ever. It took a special effort to navigate the myriad injuries, pandemics, and other calamities that made 2021 so complex.
Now, the only thing left is to give your squad the best chance you can in wrapping up that final victory. Knowing which fantasy football free agents to target on the waiver wire is one of the best ways you can do that. Here are some of the players to target ahead of the 2021 finale.
FAAB denote Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Boston Scott (RB) Philadelphia Eagles (35% FAAB) – Miles Sanders has already been ruled out this week with a broken hand and Jordan Howard is dealing with a shoulder injury. After Sanders exited Sunday’s victory, Scott got a dozen carries including a goal-line plunge, and could be in for a big role this week if Howard is also ruled out.
Dare Ogunbowale (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars (25% FAAB) – After James Robinson tore his Achilles, Ogunbowale came in and took over Robinson’s lead dog role, racking up 19 touches in relief. With Robinson out, Ogunbowale should maintain a very high snap rate, including plenty of targets against New England’s stout run defense…

Emerging from that Week 15 with a fantasy football playoff victory took immense skills or luck. Either way, consider yourself fortunate if you were able to navigate that slate and move on to Week 16. To win one more, you’ll […]
To win one more, you’ll likely need reinforcement after last week’s debacle. Here are some of the key fantasy football free agents to target heading into the semi-finals.
FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Ronald Jones (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (65% FAAB) – This is what you saved up some of your FAAB for. With Leonard Fournette (hamstring) expected to miss the remainder of the fantasy season, Jones is now in prime position to see 15 touches for a Bucs’ offense that should be motivated to rebound quickly against the Panthers. Jones isn’t much of a receiver but looked more explosive as a runner Sunday night. View Jones as a locked-in Weekly RB2 moving forward and try to add him everywhere you can.
Duke Johnson (RB) Miami Dolphins (40% FAAB) –

Congratulations on making it to the fantasy football postseason. Undoubtedly, proactive waiver wire choices were a big help in that achievement, especially in a season as wild as 2021. Now that we’re in a do-or-die mode, each remaining FAAB dollar […]
Now that we’re in do-or-die mode, each remaining FAAB dollar is more valuable than ever. Let’s take a look at some of the key free agents ahead of Week 15 and figure out how much of that remaining budget we should use.
FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition BudgetÂ
Rashaad Penny (RB) Seattle Seahawks (40% FAAB) – The talent has always been there but Penny has always struggled to stay healthy. Week 14 delivered on that skillset as Penny took lead back duties for the Seahawks and turned 35 snaps into 17 touches, 138 yards, and two scores. With Adrian Peterson inactive and Alex Collins playing just 14 snaps, Penny is poised to be a real difference-maker while healthy and is worth a substantial FAAB bid.
D’Onta Foreman (RB) Tennessee Titans (10% FAAB) – Tennessee continues to trot out a two or three-man backfield but Foreman appears to be the easy choice in fantasy formats. Even though he was out-snapped by Dontrell Hilliard and Jeremy McNichols…

FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Russell Gage (WR) Atlanta Falcons (8% FAAB) –Â Still available in over three-quarters of ESPN fantasy leagues, Gage has averaged nine targets per game over Atlanta’s past three contests and just had a season-best 11 grabs and 130 yards against Tampa. Gage is unquestionably Atlant’s No. 1 wideout and offers weekly WR3 value.
Ricky Seals-Jones (TE) Washington Football Team (7% FAAB) – Logan Thomas‘s return to the lineup didn’t last long. With Thomas projected to be back on the shelf for an extensive amount of time…
