Week 3 Prescription Notes

— I hope that you played Falcons WR Calvin Ridley this week. I told you that he is the perfect complement to Julio Jones because of his speed and ability to stretch the field—and that is exactly what happened against the Saints. Mohamed Sanu will become the team’s WR3 moving forward.

— Giants QB Eli Manning showed that he’s not yet done. Manning was almost perfect this week going 25 for 29 for 297 yards. More importantly, he was only sacked four times—it seems like the benching of Ereck Flowers improved the offense as a whole.

— 49ers QB Jimmy G was carted off the field with what is said to have been a knee injury. If he is out for the season, keep your eyes on C.J. Beathard. Beathard was Shanahan’s guy at QB last year before the team traded for Jimmy G. Beathard is not a star by any means, but he is serviceable and will keep the 49ers in games.

— If you listened to the FullTime Fantasy Sports radio show on FNTSY radio network on Friday night at 7 pm you know, we talked about Bengals WR Tyler Boyd. I mentioned how Dalton would have to use the short passing game with Price and Mixon out and he did. Look for Boyd to be the top player (outside of Ridley) going off the waiver wire this week.
