Circa Survivor Report: Week 10
UNDERDOGS RULE THE SLATE
Favorites have dominated the NFL over the past month, but underdogs ruled the Week 10 slate to the dismay of many who were left remaining in Circa’s Survivor contest. The FullTime Fantasy Circa Survivor Report: Week 10 recaps the upsets.
All of the remaining 151 contestants backed Chalk to win in Week 10. However, fading Carolina was the kiss of death for the second straight week. The Panthers 20-17 upset of the Giants as 6.5–point underdogs in Germany eliminated 30 contestants.

After facing a 10-0 deficit at halftime, 19.9% of the pool held out hope when Graham Gano tied the game at 20-20 with just:09 seconds remaining. However, the dream for the $14 million prize quickly evaporated when rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. lost a fumble on the first play of overtime at the NYG 24-yard line. After three consecutive runs, Eddy Pineiro connected on a 36-yard game-winning field goal.

The Patriots sacked Caleb Williams a season-high nine times. That helped New England come away with the upset after previously losing seven of eight games. Ouch.
In Week 10, favorites only went 8-6 Straight-up (SU), after winning SU at a 79.7% clip over the previous four weeks. However, while chalk was also dominating against the spread (ATS) at a 62.7% pace over that span, underdogs bounced back in a big way posting an 11-3 ATS mark.
After 10 weeks, 105 of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive and continue to dream!
The Bears, who were the fourth-most selected team, knocked out 14 contestants after suffering a shocking 19-3 home loss at the hands of the Patriots despite being 6-point home favorites.
The Chargers and the Eagles bring it home! Congratulations to those who picked them.
That’ll do it for Week 10 as there are no picks on the game tonight or MNF.

The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the course of the season.
In the quest for the biggest Survivor prize in history ($14,266,000), contestants in Week 11 will likely be heavily backed. Detroit (-12.5) vs Jacksonville, Miami (-7) vs Las Vegas, Houston (-7.5) at Dallas, Green Bay (-6) at Chicago, San Francisco (-6.5) vs Seattle and Minnesota (-6) at Tennessee.
From a betting perspective, favorites hold a sizable 104-48 SU (68.4%) and 77-71-2 ATS (52%) edge. Home teams hold a slim 77-70 SU (52.4%) advantage (five international games) while road teams hold the coveted 81-63-3 ATS (56.3%) edge.
