Pickens burst onto the scene as a freshman with 727 yards and eight touchdowns, earning him SEC All-Freshman Team honors. Unfortunately, due to circumstances we didn’t get to see his full development and don’t have a large sample size for the remainder of his career. This is due to a Covid shortened season in 2020 and a Spring ACL tear in 2021. However, when he played in 2020 he was excellent. In just eight games he caught 36 passes for 513 yards and a team-high eight TDs. Last year due to that ACL injury he only appeared in four games catching five passes for 107 yards. A lot of what we expect from Pickens on the next level is based on skillset and projections more so than production.Strengths
