Ryan Fitzpatrick

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fitzpatrick followed up his big Week 1 with another impressive performance in Week 2. Fitzpatrick went 27 of 33 for 402 yards, four touchdowns and one interception against the Eagles. He has completed 78.7 percent of his passes for 819 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception. Jameis Winston has one game left to serve in his three-game suspension and there have been whispers Fitzpatrick could remain the starter. This is an offense with a lot of weapons and while Fitzpatrick is unlikely to keep this pace, he gets a good matchup against the Steelers in Week 3.

RB Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals

Bernard is likely owned in most leagues, but there are some where he was dropped after Week 1 when he had two touches compared to 22 for Joe Mixon. Then Mixon was in and out of Week 2 and had arthroscopic knee surgery. Mixon is expected to miss 2-4 weeks, allowing Bernard to get touches in his absence. Bernard filled in well when Mixon missed time last season and was a Top 20 running back when Mixon was out.

RB Corey Clement, Philadelphia Eagles

Jay Ajayi had a back injury in Week 2 and missed almost two quarters before returning and Darren Sproles was out with a hamstring injury. Sproles is 35 and coming off a torn ACL. Clement only played 13 snaps in Week 1, but he played a bigger role in Week 2 with six carries for 30 yards and five catches for 55 yards. Clement led the backfield in snaps with 42 percent. With the Eagles decimated by injuries at wide receiver, Clement could see more targets.

RB Ito Smith, Atlanta Falcons

In deeper formats, the waiver wire is thin and Smith comes into play. Devonta Freeman could miss 2-3 weeks with a knee injury and Smith will get touches behind Tevin Coleman. Smith played 29 percent of the snaps and had nine carries for 46 yards and one catch for eight yards. Smith looked good against the Panthers and would receive a big boost if Coleman misses time.

WR Antonio Callaway, Cleveland Browns

With Josh Gordon no longer with the Browns, Callaway gets a big opportunity. He played 50 of the 62 snaps in Week 2 and Callaway scored on a 47-yard touchdown to tie the score late in the game. He caught three of his four targets for 81 yards. Callaway had a strong preseason and would have gone higher in the draft if it wasn’t for off the field issues.

WR Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals

Week 1 indicated Boyd was going to be a big part of the offense. He played 87 percent of the snaps, but  didn’t have a big stat line with three catches for 26 yards in five targets. Boyd played a bigger role in Week 2 with nine targets, catching six passes for 91 yards with a touchdown.

TE Jesse James, Pittsburgh Steelers

James has produced two good Fantasy games in the first two weeks. In Week 1, he caught three passes for 60 yards on five targets. He had a favorable matchup in Week 2 against the Chiefs and took advantage with five catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. The Steelers are going to put up a lot of points and James gets favorable matchups with Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster getting so much attention.
