The New York Yankees have placed LHP Jordan Montgomery on the 10-day disabled list with a left elbow injury.
Montgomery was lifted after just one inning Tuesday night against the Astros after experiencing discomfort in his left elbow. He is scheduled to visit with team doctors on Wednesday in New York City. There should be an update from the Yankees by Thursday. Domingo German is expected to slide into Montgomery’s rotation spot for the time being and is worth a look in mixed fantasy leagues.
