Many Fantasy Baseball owners thought Archie Bradley was going to assume the closer role for a D-Backs squad that doesn’t have any other elite arms in the bullpen. However, former 2017 NL Manager of the Year Torey Lovullo elected to go with a guy with a bit more experience closing games out in Brad Boxberger.

This is very helpful information to know for those of you who have yet to draft but tons of drafts are already in the books. Bradley should still be a solid reliever, much like Cleveland’s Andrew Miller, but he’s not going to get those 30 saves that you may have penciled him in for. If Boxberger is on your league’s waiver wire, you may want to scoop him up now and give him a chance. Saves are not the easiest category to come by when it comes to Fantasy Baseball.
