DFS NBA Droppin Dimes 2/22/2019

Mandatory Credit: Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Friday night with 9 games on the slate starting at 7pm.

Some players that are listed as questionable- Luka Doncic, Miles Turner, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jarren Jackson Jr.

This chart shows the breakdown of each game with team totals, spread, pace + pace difference. It also shows the opponents DvP. Good starting point to show which teams are in good spots for tonight’s game. The Grizzlies have the largest bump in pace and get a decent matchup. Solid value plays from the Grizzlies. The Pistons get the next highest pace bump along with one of the best matchups on the board tonight.

POINT GUARD

Ricky Rubio

Rubio has been solid over the past 3 games playing around 30 minutes and scoring above 30 FPs in that time-frame. The pace up spot and matchup is what I am targeting as the Jazz get a nice bump in pace +4.1 and Rubio is in an excellent spot vs the Thunder as they rank last over the last 4 games vs PGs. This could be a 40 + FP game for Rubio tonight. Should come in at around 5-7% ownership.

Jeff Teague

Teague’s last 2 games 52 and 42 and his price is still under 6k. He should have no problem with the Knicks tonight. Bump if KAT sits out.

Darren Collison

Collison has been very solid as of late posting 26 or more FPs in his last 8 games. Great spot for him and the Pacers tonight as the face the Pelicans who run at a fast pace and dont play any defense.

Jamal Murray

Risk/reward play that should go under the radar tonight. Murray continues to play over 30 minutes a game, but his shot have been down a bit. I expect him to get some open looks against the Mavericks tonight who rank 27th vs opposing PGs over the past 4 games.

VALUE

Delon Wright

Playing solid minutes and gets and excellent matchup.

Ish Smith

Punt play vs the Hawks who run fast and do not play much defense. Worth a look at only 3.3K on DK.

SHOOTING GUARD

DeMar DeRozan

DeRozan played well in this matchup last time out posting a triple/double.

Evan Fournier

Fournier plays solid minutes and taking double digit shot attempts. Gets a good matchup tonight,

VALUE

Kent Bazemore

Bazemore is starting tonight and should see some additional minutes. Pistons have been getting crushed by wings. Just do it.

Nicholas Batum

Nice pace up spot and very good matchup.

Luke Kennard

Playing extended minutes and put up 20 or more FPs in 4 of his last 5 games.

SMALL FORWARD

Paul George

Consistency

Rudy Gay

Very consistent and under priced right now on DK at only 5.4K. 46 & 34 FPs in last 2 games.

Andrew Wiggins

Only if KAT sits out.

VALUE

DeAndre Bembry

Kenrich Williams

Williams is still playing over 30 minutes a game.

POWER FORWARD

Blake Griffin

Excellent spot for both of the Piston bigs. 50 or more FPs in last 2 games.

Dario Saric and Taj Gibson

KAT has been ruled out and both of these players should see extra run.

VALUE

Paul Millsap

Hard to pass up on Millsap at this price, especially in this matchup. 4.6k on DK? Last 2 games 52 & 30 FPs.

Derrick Favors

Plays limited minutes, but gets the job done every night. Good spot for him tonight in this pace up game.

CENTER

Andre Drummond

Drummond has been very consistent over the last 5 games posting 50 or more FPs. This is a crush spot for him tonight.

Domantas Sabonis

Miles Turner has just been ruled out, so we can expect Sabonis to log solid minute tonight. He gets an excellent matchup tonight as the Pelicans have allowed the 2nd most FPs to opposing centers. Sabonis has averaged 1.32 FPPM this yeas and could see close to 30 minutes tonight.

Cody Zeller

Zeller has just been solid since returning from injury. He has shown a fairly safe floor and upside of 44 in the perfect matchup. Tonight he gets close to the perfect matchup in this pace up spot against a team ranked 28th over the last 4 games. The Wizards run at a very fast pace and this should open up more opportunities for rebounds and points.

VALUE

Joakim Noah

Noah has played well as of late posting 20, 23 and 42 FPS over his last 3 games. Valancuinas has been ruled out and Jarren Jackson is listed as questionable. This could open up a lot of minutes for Noah tonight who has averaged 1.15 FPPM. Add in the excellent matchup and pace up spot and he could 20/20.

Kyle O’Quinn

Punt play. O’Quinn has posted 1.3 FPPM this year and should see around 15 minutes tonight. 1.3×15=19.5 and not a bad value at only 3k on DK. Upisde is close to 25 though.
