A month ago, the Denver Broncos hosting the Indianapolis Colts would have been a potential playoff preview. Now, we have a matchup between two disappointing teams that are scuffling offensively. Still, that doesn’t mean there are major fantasy ramifications to […]
Denver’s offense did show some signs of life last week but now has to move forward without star running back Javonte Williams. How will Nathaniel Hackett adjust his already scrutinized play-calling without Williams?
The Colts will also be without their star running back, which certainly won’t help an offense that has struggled and is turning the ball over way too often.
The Broncos are 3.5-point favorites and the over/under stands at 42.5 points.

TEAM | OFFENSE | PASS | RUSH | YDS/PLAY | POINTS |
Indianapolis Colts | 19 | 10 | 27 | 24 | 32 |
Denver Broncos | 21 | 18 | 18 | 16 | 30 |
It’s hard to believe that these are two of the three lowest-scoring teams in football. Indy’s struggles start up front, as the Colts’ offensive line ranks 27th in sack percentage. They haven’t opened up any holes for the ground game and rank 30th in fourth-down conversion.

In a season that feels marred by injuries, Week 4 might have been the worst slate yet. We’re only one-quarter […]
With four games in the books, it’s doubtful anyone has escaped the rash of injuries and disappointing starts. With so many first-rounders underperforming or unavailable, the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 5 has never been more important. Here are the […]
Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered free agents to target ahead of Week 5, with FAAB recommendations.
FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Mike Boone (RB) Denver Broncos (15% FAAB) – Melvin Gordon would be the obvious add but he is rostered in three-quarters of ESPN leagues. Gordon also saw himself benched after another costly fumble. That opened the door for Boone to average 6.7 yards per carry against the Raiders in relief of Javonte Williams. Boone also ran 12 routes to Gordon’s 5. Williams’s season is over with a serious knee injury, so Boone should be a priority add in all formats.
Raheem Mostert (RB) Miami Dolphins (13% FAAB) – Now rostered in 53% of ESPN leagues, Mostert took a real step towards being Miami’s best fantasy RB. He out-snapped Chase Edmonds 46-18 and had 10 more opportunities in Cincinnati. Edmonds will remain involved in the passing game but for now, Mostert looks like the better overall fantasy asset.

The Thursday night tilt from last week was as uneventful as we anticipated. Fortunately, things are looking up again with our Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 4 contest between the Bengals and AFC’s last unbeaten squad, the Miami Dolphins. Uncertainty […]
Uncertainty surrounds Miami as their star quarterback is listed as questionable after an ugly “back” injury he returned from in Week 3.
For the defending AFC champions, they’ll debut their all-white jerseys and helmets but need to figure out how to revamp an offense that enters this game last in yards per play and 20th overall.
Matchup
TEAM | OFFENSE | PASS | RUSH | YDS/PLAY | POINTS |
Miami Dolphins | 13 | 4 | 31 | 2 | 8 |
Cincinnati Bengals | 20 | 14 | 20 | 32 | 10 |
The Dolphins are no strangers to establishing a potent offense. In 2021, Miami ranked 7th in offensive pace but that has surprisingly fallen off under Mike McDaniel. His club enters Week 4 ranked 28th with just 55.7 offensive plays per game…

Looking back on Week 3, it feels like it was a remarkable slate of games. Mostly for the wrong reasons. The Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 4 is one of the best ways fantasy managers can improve their odds at […]
Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered free agents to target ahead of Week 4, with FAAB recommendations.
FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears (65% FAAB) – Without definite word on the right knee injury to David Montomery, be prepared to go “all in” for Khalil Herbert. Montgomery appeared to twist his knee awkwardly, which often means MCL or PCL damage. It could also be a severe high-ankle sprain. Regardless, it looks like Chicago’s starter will be sidelined for several games and Herbert flashed his RB1 upside. After Montgomery’s exit, Herbert did something Montgomery has never done in the NFL- rushed for 157 yards and two scores. Chicago’s anemic passing attack is historically bad, which means Herbert could see a significant workload for multiple weeks. Be prepared to make a substantial waiver claim, but you just might land an RB1 for the next month or longer.
Jamaal Williams (RB) Detroit Lions (55% FAAB) – We’ve been on Williams since this summer, so he’s probably not available in your league. However, he is unrostered in over half of ESPN leagues. Williams already has stand alone weekly value. But, with D’Andre Swift now slated to miss at least two games
