For the second consecutive week, the Thursday night game resulted in the biggest upset of the slate. Jalen Hurts and the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles were dominated by Cam Skattebo and the Giants, 34-17 in front of the national audience. 89 competitors were eliminated when Big Blue pulled off the biggest stunner despite being installed as 8-point home underdogs.

The second significant upset of the week came as part of the Monday night double-header, when Caleb Williams and the Bears beat Jayden Daniels and the Commanders as time expired, 25-24. A botched handoff, while Washington was attempting to run the clock out, allowed newly signed placekicker Jake Moody to convert on his fourth field goal of the game from 38 yards on the game’s final play, eliminating 70 more hopefuls.

Circa Survivor, which drew a record-breaking $18,718,000 million prize pool this year, does not require the need to cover any point spread. However, simply picking the straight-up winner has not been easy as 14,300 (76.4%) contestants are out prior to the start of Week 7, leaving only a total of 4,418 entries (23.6%) alive with dreams of cashing in on the hit of a lifetime.

Favorites finished with a 11-4 Straight-up (SU), but underdogs finished with an 8-7 Against the Spread (ATS) edge on the week. Overall, favorites still maintain a sizable 60-30-1 SU (2 pick-ems) mark, with underdogs holding a slim ATS 46-45 advantage. Home teams hold a 51-37-1 SU (57.9%) advantage with 4 neutral-site International games, while also owning the more coveted 46-43 ATS (51.7%) edge. Meanwhile, lower scoring games than the oddsmakers were predicting, resulted in Unders cashing in 9 of 15 games. Overs now hold the smallest of margins at 47-46 (50.5%) on the year.

The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest which forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the course of the season. Circa Survivor, which requires a $1,000 entry fee, will once again be a massive sweat for those who run deep into the season due to the massive winner-take-all prize pool.

In an early look-ahead to Week 7 it is expected that: Kansas City (-12) vs Las Vegas, New England (-7) at Tennessee, Denver (-7) vs NY Giants and Green Bay (-6.5) at Arizona – will be among the most heavily chosen teams in the contest.

Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, home to the prestigious Fantasy Football World Championship, continues to deliver world-class content from the best players to help fans win and stay informed. Stay tuned for more expert insights as the season unfolds!
