The faster we all move on and forget about what was a difficult Week 9, the better of we'll be. It is always better to be proactive and not reactive- especially after a disastrous week like we just witnessed.
With that in mind, the best way to move on is to know which fantasy-relevant free agents to target on this week's waiver wire, and just how much of your remaining FAAB you should use.
Here are our Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire targets...
Jordan Howard (RB) Philadelphia Eagles (15% FAAB) - In two games since being activated off the practice squad, Howard has rushed the ball 29 times, accumulated 128 yards, and punched in three touchdowns. And apparently, Nick Sirianni plans to keep Howard involved in Philadelphia's offense even when Miles Sanders returns. Howard won't offer much as a receiver but can be a factor as the short-yardage back for an Eagles' offense that is becoming increasingly reliant on the run.
Brandon Aiyuk (WR) San Francisco 49ers (10% FAAB) - After being dropped by the vast majority of fantasy managers who invested a mid-round selection on Aiyuk, the sophomore wideout is starting to heat up. In San Francisco's past two games, Aiyuk has reeled in 10-of-15 targets for 134 yards and his second TD of the season. He might not wind up posting the premium WR2/3 numbers we expected in 2021 but Aiyuk can certainly be a viable contributor moving forward...
