QUARTERBACKS
Jackson – Love this spot for him to start the season. Home narrative as he comes back to South Florida where he starred at Boynton Beach high. Miami’s strength on D is their secondary, not in their front 7. If I’m Baltimore, I’m running zone read all game. Baltimore’s receivers are bad, really bad but I do think the tight ends get involved as well as the backs in the passing game. Jackson’s upside is with his legs, not him arm so I do think he gets in the box twice rushing.
Allen – Another Guy I love this week because of his ability to be on the move. Allen rushed for over 100 yards last season against this defense which really didn’t get any better this off season. Buffalo is also pretty loaded at receiver, with m 2 favorites being Zay and Beasley. Buffalo is better than some think, and I do believe in Allen’s talents.
Goff – Squeaky wheel Gurley probably won’t get a large share of the offense so expect the ball to be on Goff’s hands often. Cooks has destroyed the cover 2 in the past, so this game should set up well for him over the top and a possession guy like Woods.
Upside guys
Winston
Mayfield
RUNNING BACKS
Fournette– My top back this week by far. He came into camp in the best shape since college, and looks motivated to absolutely dominate this year. KC is a team that we liked to attack defensively last year, and with Jacksonville’s ability to stretch the field with Foles Fournette should have a ton of running lanes.
Bell – I think they feed Bell early and often this week. New York wants to show off their shiny new back, so I expect Lev to get a good amount of touches.
Johnson – Kerryon will have a huge year, and facing a defense that’s really bad against the run. I don’t know if Johnson will get 20+ carries but, his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield when his carries are lower make up for it.
Upside guys
Carson
CMC
Coleman
J. Jackson
WIDE RECEIVERS
Thielen – Watch out for Diggs prior to kickoff. If he is OUT, I’m all I’m on Thielen. Not much to say about him, but should be 15+ targets in a shoot out.
Godwin – Love him this week. This game should be high scoring and Godwin has the ability to stretch the field. 50+ yard TD coming.
Westbrook – Jacksonville stays in this game and I even think wins it. Dede and Foles have a connection already and we saw it throughout the preseason. It’ll be interesting to see how this offense runs with a quarterback that can actually hit a target.
Upside guys
Zay Jones/Beasley – Ton of targets for both
Wilson
Ridley
TIGHT END
Engram – All In for me. 15+ targets
Kittle – DUHHHHHHH
Hooper – Vikings cannot cover the tight end
DEFENSE
Browns – LETS GOOOOOOOOO
Philly – Renner got me on them, Skins are bad
Miami – Hedge play to Jackson. If they keep him contained it could be lights out for Baltimore.
