MLB DFS Fastballs and Flyballs 9/17

14 game slate

PITCHERS

Sonny Gray

Gray has pitched well this year and both times vs the Cubs. Tonight the Cubs don’t have Rizzo in the lineup. The wind is blowing in tonight which will help along with Gray’s high K rate and ability to keep the ball on the ground. With a few other higher priced arms I don’t see many going with Gray tonight. I can see him going 6 innings 8-9 Ks and allowing a run.

Alex Young

Young has shown his upside against the Reds going 8 innings and striking out 12 hitters. He gets a solid matchup against the Marlins who have limited power and are worse vs LHPs.… Continue reading ...

Weekly Fantasy Football Injury Report Home Page

Yes, football is a violent sport and naturally players get hurt. When they get hurt, they wind up on NFL injury reports. But fear not. We are here to help you navigate the murky waters of the often mysterious and complicated injury report.

Gone are the days of players being considered “probable.” Instead, at a minimum, any player with a hangnail or blister on his thumb is slapped with the questionable tag. It’s the same category players are put into if they are in danger of missing a game or two due to a sprained ankle.

In each of these articles, we will tell you who is ruled out for extended time, who is on injured reserve, who is missing time due to suspension, who is probable and who is truly questionable to suit up.… Continue reading ...

Fantasy Football: Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

Daily Dr. Roto — September 17, 2019

Waiver Wire for Week 3

Quarterbacks

Mason Rudolph, Pittsburgh Steelers

Rudolph takes over for the injured Big Ben and to be honest I like his upside. He’s big, strong, and a terrific pocket passer. He kind of reminds me of a young Roethlisberger. I still think he’s a couple of years away from being really good, but he might surprise people and is definitely worth a waiver wire pickup.

Teddy Bridgewater, New Orleans Saints

Teddy B had a nightmare performance against the Rams. I know he wasn’t prepared to play in the game, but still, I expected more when he came in. I think there’s some talent here and he does have good skill players around him so if you lost Brees, Bridgewater is certainly worth a pickup.… Continue reading ...
