The Staff
Weaver – He’s been great over his last 2 starts striking out 17 to just 1 walk. He gets a nice park shift in Pittsburgh, and still pretty cheap. As long as he can keep with pitch count from spiking, he should smash tonight
(Risk factor 5)
Lynn – Lefties have notoriously crush Lynn, but Oakland really doesn’t have a lot of lefty pop in their lineup. He’s been much better on the road with a 2.08 era and .191 average, plus gets that nice big ballpark tonight in Oakland.
(Risk factor 5)
Wheeler – He’s underpriced for his strikeout potential. Philly is dealing with some injuries, while Wheeler just saw this team a week ago going 7 innings while striking out 5.
(Risk factor 6)
The Bats
Houston – Righties will go bonkers tonight, but Brantley is also seeing the ball extremely well.
White Sox – riding with this team again. Small ballpark for Cashner and LOVE Moncada/Anderson 1-2.
Washington – I hate playing Coors, but Jeff Hoffman is worse than a trash can. (2-5)
Seattle – Large Marge was tattooed for 5 runs last start and has a 6+ era at home.
