Week 6 featured several prominent performances from players scooped up in free agency and the upcoming bye weeks only increases the odds of that happening again.
Here are the key low-owned players for fantasy football fans to be aware of ahead of Week 7, with our remaining FAAB spending recommendations.

Week 7 NFL byes: Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Chargers
Michael Thomas (WR) New Orleans Saints (33% FAAB) – Most likely, Thomas is rostered in your league, but if he happens to be available, make a strong bid. The Saints aren’t throwing the ball near as much as they have in the past but that could change when they get their WR1 back in the mix. Thomas is eligible to come off of IR this week but isn’t expected to play for another week or two. When he is active, Thoma has the potential to be a difference-making weekly WR2 for fantasy managers who can afford to fill a bench spot.
Alex Collins (RB) Seattle Seahawks (20% FAAB) – The Seahawks placed Chris Carson on IR prior to Week 6. That means Carson will miss at least two more weeks. Collins filled in just fine, rushing 20 times for 101 yards and a score before getting hurt. As long as Carson is healthy and has the backfield to himself, he’s a weekly RB2.
