NFL GPP Plays – 11/12/17

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The Fuego Pit

I am slightly changing the format for my write up this week. I will narrow down players to more of a core group of guys. If players aren’t listed here it doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad plays. It just means I will not have a ton of exposure to them. Obviously, studs like Antonio Brown, Kareem Hunt and Le’Veon Bell are always in play. If I really don’t like a high-end player this week, I will mention I am fading them. I will list some of the top tiered options and a few value plays or players I may have a few shares of. These are the players that I will have the most exposure to in my main GPP lineups.

QUARTERBACKS

Dax Prescott – may as well jump on the bandwagon. Though I agree with no Zeke this week, he will be the focus of the offense, including running when they get close to the goal line.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – His price is so cheap, especially on DraftKings, you can do whatever you want with the rest of your lineup almost. I don’t think he blows up, but do think he can hit value pretty easily.

Matt Ryan – Do we finally see the Matt Ryan we have been waiting for this season? I hope so, but don’t hold your breath. Steve Renner really likes him though, so I can get on board.

Matthew Stafford – Will be popular, but playing the Browns

RUNNING BACKS

Bilal Powell – He is only $4000 on DK, a steal for a starting running back getting a full workload. Tough fade, but will be highly owned. I can see fading just cuz of ownership.

Devonta Freeman – If you don’t’ love Ryan this week, Freeman would be a good pivot.

Bell – he’s Bell

Jordan Howard – good price in a good spot

Duke Johnson – good pivot off of Powell if you want to fade him

WIDE RECEIVERS

Michael Thomas

Adam Humphries – Filling in for the suspended Mike Evans. Should get a bunch of targets. Ultra-cheap on DK.

Sterling Shepard – Like many people this week, I think he is in a good spot. Will be highly owned though.

Golden Tate – pairing him with Stafford if I go there

Julio Jones – If you believe in Ryan, believe in Julio

TIGHT ENDS

Rob Gronkowski – Fanduel only as he plays in the night game.

Kyle Rudolph – Going back to my guy this week versus the Redskins.

Cameron Brate – No Mike Evans this week, he is the only real red zone threat. Price is still good and rather cheap on DK at $4100.

Garrett Celek – Giants have given up a TD in every game so far to the tight end (just repeating what we say every week).

DEFENSE

Chicago Bears

Pittsburgh Steelers

Carolina Panthers

KICKERS – Fanduel only

Pick one that fits your lineup. Usually pick kickers from games with good weather or in domes and with high over/unders. Who the heck knows. If I must… Robbie Gould is min price. Stephen Gostkowski is expensive but in the high altitude of Denver, sort of a late-night hammer. Matt Bryant and Brandon McManus are in good spots as well.
