NBA DFS Droppin Dimes 10/19

Friday night with a 9 game slate. The Pelicans/Kings and Warriors/Jazz games are the two I have the most interest in.

NBA is all about value. Getting the best bang for the $. Value =Projected FPs/FPs divided by salary and 5x plus is key.

(FPPM)= Fantasy Points Per Minute.

*Giannis and Anthony Davis are the two highest priced players. Both are in play and should hit value.

Pricing (FD/DK)

Point Guard

Steph Curry (GS)-(9600/9700)

Curry should go off vs Rubio. Jazz are playing at a faster pace. This should be a good game and I ant some exposure it players here.

Elfrid Payton (NO)-(7000/5800)

Trip/Dub threat just about every-night.  Under priced on DK and still a solid value on FD. Played 36 minutes in first game.

De’Aron Fox (SAC)-(6500/6500)

Fox played 37.5 minutes and put up 42 FPs again Utah on Wednesday. This is a fastest pace and better matchup.

(Value)

Yogi Ferrell (SAC)

Played 30 minutes and only 3.9k. Nice pace up spot and good chance to hit value.

Risk/RewardRicky Rubio- pace up game and should do well if he plays close to 30 minutes.

Shooting Guard

Victor Oladipo (IND)-(8400/8400)

Oladipo only played 25 minutes and put up 26 FPs. He should play 30 plus minutes tonight and gets a solid matchup.

Donavan Mitchell (UTA)

Lou Williams (LAC)

Marcus Smart (BOS)-(5000/4200) GPP ONLY

Low total & close spread. These are the types of games I like to play Smart in. He likes to step up in these defensive matchups. Mediocre scorer, solid rebounded, passer and excellent defender. Like his chances for 5-7x.

(Value)

Jordan Clarkson- had a 26.3% usage in the first game on the second unit & put up 15 shots.

Small Forward

Paul George (OKC)-(9200/8700)

He is the main guy with Westbrook out, so if Westbrook sits George is in play. Clippers are not a good defensive team and he should have no problems putting up points against Gallo.

Joe Ingles (UTA)-(6300/6100)

Ingles played 35 minutes and put up 39 FPs. Scores, assists, defensive stats. Pace up game for Jazz. 218 Game total and Ingles will be one of the main reasons the Jazz stay in this game.

Nemanja Bjelica (SAC)-(5000/4600)

Played well as a starter last year for the Wolves and did very well in his first start as a King. 33 FPs in 27 minutes. Nice pace up spot.

Jimmy Butler (MIN)

Posted a 34.5% usage rate in the first game. Still under priced on DK.

(Value)

Jonathon Simmons– played 33 minutes and put up 22.5 FPs against a tough Heat defense. Much better matchup tonight against the Hornets.

Power Forward

Kevin Love (CLE)-(8000/8000)

Love put up a 32.4% usage and put up 29.4 FPs over 34 minutes. Problem was he shot 5-18. Like this matchup for him tonight.

Nikola Mirotic (NO)-(7200/7000)

High FPPM and excellent matchup.

Aaron Gordon (ORL)-(8400/8200)

The Hornets struggle to defend big men. Gordon should do well tonight.

Domantas Sobonis (IND)-(5600/5900)

Dropped a double/double 14/15 om 28 minutes. He should eat against Brook Lopez, Illyasova.

Ersan Ilyosava (MIL)-(4500/4400)

(Value)

Noah Vonleh- Recommended him on Wed and he put up 28.5 FP in 16 minutes. Dude is beast and gets the Nets tonight. Excellent value again.

JaMychal Green-Excellent matchup and could easily double/double vs the Hawks.

Risk/Reward>Kevin Knox- Played 23 minutes with a 31% usage and took 16 shots(17 FP). Knox would have easily hit value if half his shots fell.

Center

Enes Kanter (NY)-(7500/7400)

Play centers vs the Nets! Kanter should feast tonight.

Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC)-(7500/6300)

WCS played well in the first game vs a tough Jazz defense putting up 46.4 FPs (23,7,4) with 2 blocks and a steal over 38 minutes. Pace up game for the Kings, which means more opportunities. Excellent GPP spot.

Julius Randle (NO)-(7800/7100) GPP ONLY

He is list as probable for the game, but keep an eye on his status before lock. Randle will be playing on the second unit and should have no problem putting up FPS. Last year he averages 1.2 FPPM and in his first game this year he put up 1.6 FPPM.

(Value)

Tristan Thompson– cheap option in a good spot. Double/double upside.

Ed Davis- FPPM monster 21.9 FP in 17 minutes in first game. Only 3.7 on FD 7 3.9 on DK.

Mo Bamba– played well in his first game putting up 27 FPs in 25 minutes. Excellent matchup vs the Hornets who can not contain big men.

Risk/Reward>Boban Marjonovic- is an absolute FPPM beast. 1.4 FPPM. Played 17.5 minutes and put up 25 FPs. Risk is minutes and if he gets 15 minutes he will easily hit value.  Rivers wants to play him every game.
