Three-star recruit out of Arlington (TN) High School, committed to Wake Forest, and rushed for exactly 579 yards in his freshman and sophomore seasons before rendering to Michigan State where he broke out as a junior in 2021. Rushed for 264 yards and four touchdowns in his first game for the Spartans and never looked back. In all, ran for 1,636 yards (ranked 2nd) and 18 scores for Michigan State en route to First Team All-Big Ten and unanimous AP All-American accolades.
