The long wait is finally over and the fantasy football draft season has arrived. One of the best ways to compile a championship-contending roster is to know which players might exceed their current ADP and who might disappoint. When fantasy […]
When fantasy football fans can target those values and avoid the busts, they give themselves a huge competitive advantage over their less-prepared league mates.
Here are some players that make great bargains, and others to be wary of as we head into the 2021 fantasy football season.
Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins (ADP 216.2, QB23)
As a rookie in 2020 Tagovailoa failed to impress fantasy owners. While he wasn’t awful in real life, the explosive plays and big numbers just weren’t there. With that said, he was set up to fail last year. To start, he was coming off major hip surgery, and most believed he would essentially believe redshirted his rookie season, so the guy wasn’t even supposed to be playing. He was unable to have an offseason or preseason beyond rehabbing and Covid rules only compounded that. Then he was playing behind an improving but very young offensively line and had subpar weapons to throw the ball to.
The reports out of camp so far in regard to Tua have been nothing short of outstanding. Even his harshest critics have been impressed with his growth from year one. His anticipation, mobility, and grasp of the offense have drastically improved. The team also went out and got him the weapons he needed. They drafted Alabama star Jaylen Waddle in the first round and added former Texans star, Will Fuller. Last year prior to being suspended for the final five games of the season, he was the overall WR8 in fantasy football. Pairing those two with DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki is a dangerous group of pass-catchers…

The players selected at the top of all rookie drafts in dynasty leagues usually end up on the worst teams in the league. Those middling teams and ones that failed on an opportunity to secure the bag are left scrounging around for the sleepers that either went unnoticed or ended up on the waiver wire. By finding those diamonds in the rough, you can gain a huge advantage in retooling for the following season.
Here are rookie sleepers at RB, WR, and TE that you should roster in hopes of uncovering a gem in your dynasty leagues.
Rhamondre Stevenson (RB) New England Patriots
Rhamondre Stevenson is the classic thunder-and-lightning type running back, filling in the former portion of such a duo. A physical grinder, Stevenson possesses an imposing stiff-arm much like former Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount (who many have comped Stevenson to). Even though Stevenson is a bruising back, he has demonstrated the ability to evade defenders near the line of scrimmage by using his athleticism (e.g., good footwork, solid contact balance, and spin moves)…

SuperFlex leagues are becoming more popular each year with the glut of the position of quarterback becomes more prevalent across the fantasy landscape. Seems every team even in 12 team leagues has 2 quality options to choose from on most […]
1. Trevor Lawrence, QB – Jaguars
Lawrence is a no-brainer at the top of any quarterback premium formats. He enters the NFL with top-10 dynasty value at his position and will be in position to further improve upon that value. The Urban Meyer-led offense is sneakily loaded with playmakers who will flourish under the arm talent of Lawrence. Expect DJ Chark and Marvin Jones to man the outside while second-year breakout candidate Laviska Shenault operates out of the slot. The dangerous tandem of Travis Etienne and James Robinson will provide a nice security blanket out of the backfield. Fire away with Lawrence at 1.01.
2. Justin Fields, QB – Bears
Despite being the fourth quarterback taken in the NFL draft, Justin Fields sits just below Lawrence at second overall due to his combination of elite arm and leg talent. Once the Bears bench Andy Dalton after four games, Fields will step in and immediately pay dividends for fantasy owners. A Dak Prescott-like rookie season is within reach with Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney being a thunder and lightning duo on the outside. Matt Nagy’s play calling will improve with the rookie phenom at the helm of the offense.

In fantasy, an anchor at the Quarterback position is underrated. Many think you can just get one off the waiver wire, but having an Andrew Luck on your team proved to be quite valuable in years’ past. Is Trevor Lawrence […]
Trevor Lawrence – Clemson / 6’6″ – 213 lbs
After three years of wrecking the NCAA, our golden boy is finally entering the NFL. Lawrence holds one of the most impressive resumes in recent memory and looks to continue his success at the next level.
Lawrence brings his tall, skinny frame with hopes of adding muscle mass before facing off against NFL defenders. He is a polished passer, showing excellent accuracy and ball placement to all levels of the field. He has good arm strength and will not struggle to drive the ball down field. Lawrence is a great athlete who will not be afraid to tuck and run when the play breaks down, which adds an extra plus-element to his future fantasy value. Though he has been deemed a so-called generational prospect, Lawrence does need improvements in multiple aspects of his game. Disguised coverages can throw him off course and force ill-advised throws. His delivery and release can be a bit too long and slowz which could be problematic sooner than later. Lawrence remains one of the best quarterbacks to enter the league in the last decade, and he has a great chance to solidify himself as such.
