Here are some low-rostered players to target ahead of Week 3, with how much of your remaining FAAB budget you should consider utilizing.

FAAB denotes Free Agent Budget

Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears (20% FAAB) – Generally, players owned in more than half of leagues aren’t mentioned, but if there’s a chance that Fields is available, grab him now. While Matt Nagy didn’t exactly give a ringing endorsement to Andy Dalton as his starter, Nagy and GM Ryan Pace have to know their jobs are on the line. Dalton has been serviceable but does not offer the athleticism or play-making skills that Fields can provide. It’s only a matter of time before the first-round sensation gets in the Bears’ lineup and never looks back. When that happens, Fields offers weekly QB1 upside as both a potent rushing threat and accurate passer who will only get better with more reps. Be proactive and make a strong bid for Fields now if he is still available.

Rondale Moore (WR) Arizona Cardinals (12% FAAB) – As much love as I have given to Rondale Moore throughout the summer, it’s hard to believe the dynamic rookie still only rostered in about half of fantasy leagues. Moore has displayed his elite speed and turned into a dangerous weapon out of the slot, adding a dimension that was missing with Larry Fitzgerald. As potent as Arizona’s offense is, Moore offers weekly WR3 value and has still not even hit the 50% snap rate yet. Insert rocket emoji, but not before you make an aggressive FAAB bid if you’re in a league filled with scrubs who aren’t FullTime Fantasy readers.

Zach Pascal (WR) Indianapolis Colts (9% FAAB) – Pascal was a strong waiver target last week and readers who went out and nabbed him got another strong outing. In two games, Pascal has snagged 9-0f-11 targets and is tied for the league lead with three TD grabs. If Carson Wentz (ankles) is forced to miss time, it would be an obvious downgrade for all of Indy’s wideouts. Regardless, Pascal has been in on over 90% of Indianapolis’s snaps in both games and should remain a big part of the offense.

K.J. Osborn (WR) Minnesota Vikings (8% FAAB) – Another slot receiver, Osborn has very quietly been racking up some solid numbers on just 51% of Minnesota’s snaps. Osborn has already recorded 12 receptions in two games and topped 75 yards in both of Minnesota’s defeats. As long as the Vikings are involved in high-scoring shootout games, Osborn has the potential to be a decent WR4/FLEX fill-in. He’s worth a modest bid.

Zack Moss (RB) Buffalo Bills (7% FAAB) – A healthy scratch in Week 1, Moss debuted in style last week, punching in a pair of touchdowns and racking up 10 touches. However, Moss lost a fumble and was only in on 18 snaps. He’s clearly behind Devin Singletary on the depth chart but can have a viable role as a dual-threat red-zone weapon.
