Twins outfielder Max Kepler homered for the third consecutive game Sunday. He has a line of .274/.340/.571 with 15 runs, seven home runs, and 16 RBIs.
One of the hot waiver wire pickups over the weekend was Nationals shortstop Carter Kieboom. He didn’t disappoint. He homered on Friday and again on Sunday. He is 3-for-12.

Nationals first baseman Matt Adams hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning Sunday. Adams will get increased playing time with Ryan Zimmerman on the IL with plantar fasciitis.
Cody Bellinger won’t cool off. The Dodgers first baseman/outfielder hit his 14th homer Sunday. He had three RBIs and has a slash line of .427/.500/.913 with 14 home runs and 36 RBIs. He’s tied with Christian Yelich for the major league lead in home runs. Yelich left Sunday’s game with lower back tightness and is unlikely to play Monday. He’s expected to avoid the IL.
Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill returned from the IL Sunday, allowing one earned run on five hits over six innings. He struck out six and didn’t walk a batter. He allowed five runs, although four were unearned.

Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen picked up his 10th save Sunday. He has a 3.07 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB ratio in 14.2 innings.
Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco had a scare earlier in the week, leaving a game early with a knee injury. He didn’t miss a start and dominated for six innings against the Astros Sunday night. He ran into trouble in the seventh inning and took the loss. He went 6.2 innings and allowed six hits, two walks, four runs and struck out eight.
Indians first baseman Carlos Santana hit the 200th home run of his career Sunday night. He has a slash line of .300/.422/.422 with two home runs and 14 RBIs.
Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty threw seven scoreless innings and allowed four hits, one walk and struck out four in a win over the Reds. He has a 4.06 ERA and 36:6 K:BB ratio in 31 innings.
Braves closer A.J. Minter blew a save on Saturday and was removed from a save chance on Sunday. He got one out and allowed two hits. Luke Jackson came in with a one-run lead and got Nolan Arenado to fly out and got a grounder from David Dahl to end the game. He’s worth adding to see if he closes more games.
Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon extended his hitting streak to 11 games Sunday. He had three hits and stole a base and has a slash line of .288/.341/.475 with 14 runs, three home runs, 15 RBIs and two steals.
Rockies first baseman Daniel Murphy returned from the IL last week and homered for the second straight game Sunday.
Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale allowed four runs in seven innings against the Rays in a loss. He allowed four hits, three walks and struck out eight and is 0-5 with a 6.30 ERA.
Rays pitcher Tyler Glasnow struck out nine and allowed two runs in 6.2 innings against the Red Sox. He is 5-0 with a 1.78 ERA and a 38:7 K:BB ratio in 36 innings.
A’s pitcher Chris Bassitt was excellent in his second straight start. He went seven innings and allowed three hits, one run, no walks and struck out nine.
Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies hit a pair of solo homers Sunday. He has five home runs and 10 RBIs.
Ryan Pressly picked up his first save of the season Sunday after Roberto Osuna pitched two innings Saturday. Pressly pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts and hasn’t allowed a run in 12.1 innings with a 13:0 K:BB ratio.
Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar hit a pair of home runs Sunday. He has five home runs and 17 RBIs.
