After a very successful 2-1 “Mark” in Week 3 (+2.53 units), we have our sights locked on several players ready to outperform their projections before the calendar flips to October.

WR Michael Pittman over 5 1/2 receptions +110
Colts Adonai Mitchell could see a decreased role from a pivotal Week 4 miscue and with fellow WR Alec Pierce out with a concussion, Pittman should be featured versus the Raiders. Full-time fantasy advanced metrics project Pittman for 6+ receptions. Through four games Pittman is averaging 5.25 receptions per game and should see additional opportunities in Week 5 due to WR depth issues.

Week 5 is here, and fantasy managers are starting to get a clear picture of who they can rely on. With injuries piling up and matchups becoming more telling, making the right start/sit calls is crucial for quarterbacks.

Start: Justin Fields
Justin Fields looked electric in his return from a concussion, torching Miami for 226 passing yards, two total touchdowns, and 81 rushing yards on his way to 29 fantasy points. He’s hit that mark in both of his healthy starts this year, and Dallas is next on the schedule. The Cowboys have given up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks, with Russell Wilson, Caleb Williams, and Jordan Love all surpassing 32. Fields should be in line for another top-tier week and is a top-three QB play.

Sit: Trevor Lawrence
Trevor Lawrence has only one strong fantasy outing this season, and Kansas City’s defense has clamped down since Week 1. With his inconsistency and the Chiefs limiting production, Lawrence is not a trustworthy option in Week 5.

Woody Marks finally cashed in on his stash appeal, piling up 119 yards and two scores on 21 touches against Tennessee. He’s overtaking Nick Chubb in Houston’s backfield and offers dual-threat usage, especially in the passing game. Against a battered Ravens defense that’s giving up big yardage and touchdowns to backs, Marks is a strong RB2.

Sit: RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey popped with 19.8 PPR points against Cincinnati but remains a risky play. Philadelphia hasn’t allowed a rushing touchdown since Week 1, and Harvey is still splitting work with J.K. Dobbins. He’s nothing more than a desperation flex.
