Quarterbacks
Darnold – I was on Darnold even prior to hearing Bell will be out. Powell is not 1/10th of Bell, so this game has to be won by Sam. Look for more running and down field throws.
Jackson – Matchup proof and proved that last week in a soaked game where he still had almost 30+ fantasy points.
Cousins – Not a biased play, and actually the first time I have even said his name this year. Cook is injured and I highly doubt they push him this week.
Watson – Usually puts 2 really good games together. Looks like Fuller will miss this one, so he’ll lean on Nuk and Stills.
Running Backs
Gordon – Jacksonville has given up an average of 185.7 yards per game on the ground over their last 3 games. Gordon has handled 20+ carries in 3 of his last 4
Fournette – Tough matchup, but volume is key
Henry – December King Henry
Freeman – Carolina is bottom 5 in the league giving up 137.5 yards on the ground this year. Freeman has ZERO worry for anyone vulturing him.
Kamara – San Fran has struggled with stopping the run giving up 143.3 yards on the ground over the last 3 games.
Mattison – I HIGHLY doubt they push Cook today. Shoulder/Chest injuries for RB’s never end well and end up having fumbling issues. Minnesota is pretty much locked into a playoff spot so with Thielen on the shelf as well, I don’t see them pushing Cook. Mattison is capable enough to have a good game.
Wide Receivers
Pascal – Do they have anyone else???
Ridley – Crushed this Carolina secondary earlier this season
Hopkins – Will see double digit targets this week with Fuller out.
Godwin – Anytime vs zone
Edelman – Smash spot for him. 13 catches 125 and a score
DJ Moore – 36 targets over his last 3 games
Tight End
Thomas – MIN PRICE ALERT
Rudolph – Close enough for Christmas narrative right?
