RBC CANADIAN OPEN
Ok, so we want to guys who hit the ball a country mile because there’s some Par 5’s that can be used to their advantage this week. We do have kind of a weak field, so there will be chalk with some guys.
DJ – he’s the favorite….finished 8th in this tournament last year and comes in with a 312 hard drive distance. He’s 5th in the field in approach and 1st in par 5 scoring.
Finau – he’s a bomber with a 317 yard driving distance. He’s 2nd in par 5 scoring and finished 5th last year
Vegas – back to back champ In this tournament. He’s trying to become the 1st 3 peat winner in a PGA tour event since Steve Stricker did it from 09-11.
Hoffman – he has a 2nd and 7th finish in this tournament and 3 straight top 20 finishes.
Reavie – he’s made 4 straight cuts in this tournament but really need to get some legs on his drives averaging only 288 yards. Bit of a long shot, but has been consistent in this tourney.
Varner – crushes the ball with a 308 average drive. He’s going to get some ownership, but this course fits his style.
Kuchar – another guy that hasn’t missed a cut in this tournament and Finished 2nd in 2013. He’s 17th in approach but like Reavie, needs a little more carry on his drives averaging only 288 yards as well.
