DFS Visionary Plays for Week 13
QB:
Tom Brady—The only thing that worries me about using Brady is that the Bills run defense has been so bad that the Patriots might score four TDs on the ground as opposed to in the air.
Drew Brees—I always love Brees at home in divisional games.
Russell Wilson—Most people will be on Wentz but the way to beat the Eagles is to throw it deep and challenge their unproven secondary which makes Wilson a nice under the radar play.
Tyrod Taylor—DFS Rule: Find the best QB of the week (Brady) and use his opponent (Taylor) as a contrarian play.
Jimmy Garoppolo—I have no problems running with a naked Jimmy G. He looked relaxed and confident in his brief trial last Sunday.
Brett Hundley –The Bucs defense is so bad that Hundley is well worth consideration. If Hundley shows half the confidence in this game as he did against the Steelers, he will be well worth the value.
DeShone Kizer—I expect there to be a ton of garbage time production in this game, so Kizer might put up decent fantasy numbers even if the Browns get crushed.
Case Keenum—Call this my $4 and a dream play. Falcons CB Desmond Trufant is out which means that Diggs and Theilen should expose the Falcons defense for tons of yards.
RB:
Todd Gurley—Gurley ran for 100+ yards against this same Cardinals team a few games back. There’s no reason why he can’t do it again.
Leonard Fournette—Fournette is due for the bust out 150 yard, two TD game. It might just happen this week.
Alvin Kamara—Please tell me why you don’t play him every week?
Jamaal Williams—He is a must start for me so long as Aaron Jones is not playing.
Jordan Howard—The Bears want to run, and the 49er have the worst run defense in the NFL.
Kenyan Drake—With Damien Williams out the opportunity is there for sure—and don’t forget that Denver does a miuch better job covering wide receivers than they do running backs.
Alex Collins—The Lions run defense has been toothless the last month or so; Collins should be the big beneficiary.
Dion Lewis—New England’s RB1 against a Bills run defense that has been porous in the last month.
Marshawn Lynch—He could easily find the end zone twice this week. A better play on FD than DK.
WR:
Brandin Cooks—The Bills secondary struggles with speedy outside receivers.
Mike Evans—He’s due for a huge game and we all saw what Antonio Brown did to the Packers secondary last week.
Ted Ginn—Thomas is the better receiver, but you all know that I am a sucker for the narrative play.
Robby Anderson—He seems to find the end zone every week.
Cooper Kupp—Patrick Peterson will shadow Sammy Watkins leaving Kupp to do the damage in the middle of the field.
Paul Richardson—Wilson is going to have to challenge the Eagles secondary if he wants to win this game, making Paul Richardson a viable Sunday night play.
Devante Adams—While Jordy Nelson has suffered without Aaron Rodgers there, Adams has thrived as Hundley’s go-to target.
Dede Westbrook—His speed his hard to match and the Jaguars will air it out to him to help take some of the pressure off Fournette.
Adam Thielen/Stefon Diggs—I think this is a very sneaky game to stack—Vegas agrees with me as this is one of the highest games totals of the week.
Zay Jones—He’s improved dramatically over the past weeks and the Bills will be playing from behind most of the game so I can see garbage time production galore for him.
TE:
Jared Cook—No Crabtree and No Cooper should make Cook a target machine.
Hunter Henry—The Browns are horrific against opposing TEs and Henry has been producing recently.
Julius Thomas—Revenge Narrative!!! Watch him catch a TD pass in this game.
Charles Clay—Without Kelvin Benjamin around, Clay is Taylor’s most reliable (and consistent) weapon.
