PITCHERS
Jose BerriosΒ β¦ Berrios has pitched better in his last two starts throwing over 100 pitches both times and striking out 16 batters (ARZ/CHW) in 12+ innings.Β He is seeing the White Sox for the second time in a week and while that could cause some concern, heβs still a pretty affordable and decent option today to have a shot at that 7 Inning / 9 Strikeout upside.
Ivan NovaΒ β¦ Heavy underdog who has dominated the Cubs.Β I think this will be a pitchers duel with him and Quintana, but no way do I want Quintana today, so itβs Nova who is a better DK SP2 play.
Dallas KeuchelΒ β¦ Not sure if we should be reading too much into Houston getting whooped last night in front of 10 people in Tampa, but itβs clear theyβre affected by all the things going on back home.Β Keuchel has a good matchup today, but Iβm likely fading the game all-together.
J.A. HappΒ β¦ Great numbers vs Boston and the Red Sox arenβt a lethal offense to get extremely worried about.Β Happ doesnβt have much wow upside like Berrios and heβs still gonna give up 2-3 ER around 6 IP.Β But heβs worth considering because of the good history vs Boston.
FADE
Robbie RayΒ β¦ Lefties in Chase. I hate playing them. Howβd Rich Hill do last night? Oh, he got his ass kicked, did he? How about that. Simple math here for Robbie Ray. He has a 4.87 ERA at home and a 1.49 ERA on the road. I am not making this shit up people. Donβt play lefties in Chase unless its the worlds greatest matchup and last I checked, the Dodgers arenβt the greatest matchup for a pitcher.
FAVORITE STACKS
DodgersΒ β¦ Lefties in chase β¦. See above regarding Rayβ¦ Taylor+Turner+Kike lead the way for me.Β Love Barnes too if he catches
TwinkiesΒ β¦ Derek Holland has no business beating the Twins again and I always attack lefties in Target field as well.Β Need some data?Β Holland @ Minnesota on June 20th β¦ 2.2 IP, 9 hits, 7 ERβ¦Β Moving on now.
SNEAKY
RoyalsΒ β¦ Fuck yeah!Β Royals gonna go on a tear now!Β OK, maybe thatβs a stretch, but I do think theyβll whoop around Eggsβ¦
PadresΒ β¦ Ty Blaaaaaaachβ¦Β Margot, Pirela, Splish-Splash Jabari Blash and Austin Hedges make a nice HR upside and SB upside stack.
