Travis Etienne (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars – With no stats in his rookie season due to a season-ending foot injury, Etienne falls into the breakout category. Jacksonville added him last year with the 25th selection in the first round after 55 exciting games at Clemson (6,107 combined yards with 78 touchdowns and 102 catches on 788 touches). He gained an impressive 7.2 yards per rush and 11.3 yards per catch.
For Etienne to reach top-5 running back value (needed a breakout player), Trevor Lawrence must play a higher level in 2022. Etienne will give up some touches to James Robinson, but his future lies as a three-down back. Next season, drafters will be debating whether to select him over the almighty Jonathan Taylor. In early high-stakes drafts, Etienne has a free square in the third round, but he will be more challenging to acquire once he flashes in a preseason game (more eyes on him).
