Week 7 Visionary Plays
Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes — How can you not start this guy every week? Every time someone asks whether they should trade him I say simply, “NO WAY!” The Bengals are banged up on defense; this should mean another 3-4 passing TDs for Mahomes easily.
Andy Dalton — Visionary strategy: Look for the QB you like the most for the week (Mahomes) and then play the opposing QB. If the game is going to be as high scoring as Vegas thinks it will be, then Dalton is a must-start.
Joe Flacco — It’s hard to run on the Saints, and Vegas has this game at around 50 point total which means that Baltimore is going to have to score three TDs to win. If they can’t do it on the ground, then expect Flacco to have a big day with close to 300 yards passing and 3 TDs.
Baker Mayfield — I love going right back to a player who had a horrible week the week before. Mayfield won’t be nearly as under pressure against the Bucs this week as Gerald McCoy and Vinny Curry are both questionable with injuries. If you give Baker time to throw, he will pick the Bucs secondary apart.
Jared Goff — I feel about him like I do about Mahomes — he is a must-start every week. I like him even more considering he disappointed Fantasy owners in Week 6. The key to winning big in seasonal and DFS is to have a short memory.
Running Backs
Todd Gurley — Look for Gurley to find a way to get about 140 total yards from scrimmage and 1 TD against a 49ers defense that looked terrible late in the fourth quarter on Monday night.
Alvin Kamara — This might be the lowest owned you will get Kamara all year in DFS. The Ravens stop the run well, and Ingram outplayed him in Week 5 — but I am not worried. If the Saints are unable to run effectively, it just means more chances for Kamara to dominate touches in what will be a high scoring game.
