Inside the Box Scores
— Why are the Houston Texans losing games? Not only is their offensive line a sieve, but QB Deshaun Watson is targeting the same three players all game long. Against the Giants, Will Fuller, DeAndre Hopkins, and Lamar Miller had 27 of the team’s 38 targets. Watson needs to get slot receiver Keke Coutee heavily involved in the passing game when he returns from injury. Count on Watson as your Fantasy starter at your own risk.
— After being shut down in Week 1, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce led the team in both targets and receptions in Week 3. Kelce had eight receptions on ten targets which were twice as many targets as WR Tyreek Hill. This might be something to watch moving forward, as Hill has always been seen as a big play receiver and not as a target monster.
— Even though the Bengals may have lost to the Panthers in Week 3, QB Andy Dalton did an exceptional job of including all his players in the offense. Gio Bernard had nine targets,AJ Green and Tyler Eifert had eight targets, and Tyler Boyd and John Ross had seven targets. This was to be expected with Joe Mixon out of the lineup with a knee injury, and we should look for more of the same next week when the Bengals play the Falcons.
