Brad Kruse

  • Two FFWC Auction lg wins in 2017
  • FFWC Regular Season pts leader in ’16 & ’17

SLEEPER

TE O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: I know Cameron Brate is there and he’s a trusted target. But, despite almost doubling up Howard on targets last year, they each ended up with 6 TDs. I think Howard gains more attention in 2018 and will take some snaps and targets away from Brate.… Continue reading ...

2018 Fantasy Baseball: Shawn Childs Preseason PRO Picks

NL Offensive Sleeper

In the early draft season in the high stakes market, Dansby Swanson is just an afterthought as a bench option. In his first season in the majors, Swanson hit .232 with six HRs, 51 RBI, and three SBs in 488 at-bats. This production is well below expected value, but a Fantasy owner has to understand that 2017 was Danby’s AAA season. In his minor league career, Swanson only has 38 at-bats at AAA after being the first overall pick in 2015 by the Diamondbacks. His approach is strong enough to hit near the Braves starting lineup. His experience in 2017 will lead to a huge jump in his value this year.… Continue reading ...

2018 Fantasy Baseball: Adam Ronis Preseason PRO Picks

AL Offensive Sleeper – Marcus Semien

Semien is coming off a season limited to 85 games due to an injury. After 11 games batting .171, Semien had wrist pain and had surgery. Even though he played in discomfort the rest of the season upon returning in July, Semien batted ,249 with 53 runs, 10 home runs, 40 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 13 attempts. Two years ago, Semien batted .238 with 72 runs, 27 home runs, 75 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. Semien is 27 and can help across the board outside of average. He’s going to hit at the top of an underrated offense and can get 15-20 steals if they let him run more.

2018 Fantasy Baseball: Dr. Roto’s Preseason PRO Picks

AL Offensive Sleeper— Yoan Moncada

I bought into Moncada last season, but the White Sox kept him in the minors too long for him to make a true Fantasy impact. That won’t happen this season, as I fully expect him to have a legitimate chance to go 25-25.

NL Offensive Sleeper— David Dahl

A rib injury sidelined Dahl for the entire 2017 season, but he is healthy now and should make a full return to the Rockies’ lineup. Most people are overlooking him in drafts, expecting him to be the 4th OF in Colorado. My thought is that talent wins out and that Dahl gets 450 at bats this year and establishes himself as young OF to watch moving forward.Continue reading ...
