FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 11

Commish Roy looks back at Week 11 and breaks down which teams are leading the Fantasy Football World Championships!

FFWC XI

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Week 11 of the FullTime Fantasy Football regular season is now complete. Scoring was down slightly, as five games resulted in less than 38 total points being scored. With just three weeks remaining, to secure a playoff position, here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FFWC XI Tournaments.

Fantasy Football World Championship

Week 11, in the race to claim the $150K FFWC XI Grand Prize, saw scoring dip slightly. As an example, the Top 20 averaged 157.73 points per player, which is down from 178.35 points last week. Several squads made a big move, including the four new teams that joined the FTF World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard.

Retaining the top perch, Just(in) Time is the FFWC XI overall leader for a tenth straight week. Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini posted 155.6 points, which was the second-highest total in their FFWC SLOW 4 league. Looking like a playoff preview, and a battle for the $4,000 League Championship Prize, Just(in) Time (8-3) goes H2H with House of Orange I (10-1) this week. A win by David Strand’s squad will clinch the Best Record playoff position. Simeon and Brian lead the Most Points race by 182.50 points.

Moving up two spots, from fourth to second, Miss New Booty VII continues a steady climb toward the top. Oliver Dawoud’s squad piled up 174.25 points and remains unbeaten with an 11-0 record. Looking to claim the $10K Dominator league prize, Oliver has clinched the Best Record in FFWC Online 8/26. He also leads the Most Points race by 99.25 points.

Team Honeycutt slipped from second to third overall. Steve’s FFWC 8/22 9 PM ET league had one of the closest finishes this season. In a battle of 9-1 squads, Team Meyer escaped with a 166.85 to 165.80 victory over Team Honeycutt. RB Isiah Pacheco fell 1.10 points shy of securing a victory for Steve the during MNF game. While it can still happen, with a 211.00 Most Points lead, that is a rough way to slip out of a league Dominator position.

Also dropping one spot, Zefurs (10-1) slipped from third to fourth overall. KJ Duke’s FFWC 9/3 9 PM ET squad posted 162.10 points. That total was well above the 132.68 points per team FFWC Week 11 average. Leading his league by two games, plus being 182.05 up in the points race, KJ is well positioned to secure a Dominator victory. He is also just 33.4 points out of first place overall, which is down slightly from his 39.9 deficit last week.

Back in the Top 5, for the second time this season, Coyote Miscreants (8-3) moved from sixth to fifth overall. Another team making a steady climb, Mike Santos and Kurt Kuekes’ FFWC GrindTime 8/18 squad posted 162.10 points. After averaging 144.74 points per week, during the first three weeks, Coyote Miscreants have averaged 172.6 points over the last eight weeks.

Our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Robbie Dinges who moved two teams into the Top 20 list. In particular, his Dingos Dreamteam+ScottyDog (8-3) team, which he co-owns with Scott Sanders, posted 178.85 points. Trying to spoil a Dominator run by team My Sack Hurts (9-3), and create a playoff in FFWC CIRCA VEGAS 9/8 2 PM PT league, Robbie and Scott sit 51.35 points behind in the Most Points race.

After ten teams scored at least 200 points last week, no one reached that plateau during Week 11 action. Coyote Miscreants FFWC Online 8/16 9 PM ET team posted the highest score with 199.70 points. That moved Mike and Kurt from 186th to 92nd in the overall race. While they are three games out of their league Best Record race, Coyote Miscreants (5-6) moved to within 8.95 points of the Most Points playoff position. They go H2H with team Triple Threat 2 (7-4), who currently hold that position, this week.

The three remaining undefeated teams all won their Week 11 H2H battle. Miss New Booty VII (2nd), Angel’s Envy (9th), and Team Stanton (48th) are still perfect with an 11-0 record. All three teams currently hold a $10K Dominator position in their league. If the playoffs started this week, just 19.88 points would separate the top 100 FFWC XI scoring teams. That is down slightly from the 20.69-point gap last week.
Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship

Scoring also dipped slightly in our inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament. The group total slipped from 147,443.70 last week, to 139,354.90 total points during Week 11 action. However, some big numbers were posted, and that shifted the overall standings somewhat. Three new teams entered the Top 20 Leaderboard and one of them landed in the top seven.

Mr Yellow Stickers 1 enjoyed another high-scoring week and retained first overall for a second straight week. Mike Schlissberg’s Circa LVFC 6/8 team posted 195.45 points, and his overall lead went from 21.60 to 67.90 points. While he has a comfortable 198.15 most point’s lead, Mr Yellow Stickers’ 10-1 record is tied for the top spot in his league.

After jumping from 11th to second last week, The Great Gatsby 18 remains in second place overall. Ray Cowart’s Circa LVFC GrindTime #3 squad posted 149.15 points. While he lost some ground, to the LVFC leader, Ray would be just 6.17 points out of first place if the playoffs started this week.

Following a -10 drop in the Top 20 standings last week, LOB roared back and jumped from 16th the third overall. Mark Deming’s Circa LVFC 7/16 10 PM ET squad racked up 212.60 points. That was the third-highest LVFC Week 11 total.

Moving up one spot, 2 Bros DP sits fourth overall. Robert Dinges’ Circa LVFC SLOW 5 team posted 167.75 points. That’s consistent with his 166.52 season average and marks the seventh straight week that 2 Bros DP has been in the Top 5.

Stumbling slightly, Team Mitchell 2 slipped from third to fifth. Mark Mitchell’s Circa LVFC 7/15 squad posted 138.75 points. Team Mitchell (11-0) managed to remain unbeaten and has a 106.90 lead in the Most Points race in his league.

Our “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Team Meyer & Henry 1 in the Circa LVFC Red vs Blue 2 league. Led by WR Tyreek Hill (30.6) and RB Saquon Barkley (30.0) Meyer & Henry 1 racked up a Week 11 LVFC-high 239.80 points. That moved them from 36th to seventh overall. With the TK and DEF positions as the exceptions, nine players scored at least 18.7 points. That is the seventh-highest single-week score so far this season. Miss New Booty III still holds the top LVFC score (265.50), which was posted back in Week 3.

Down from three squads last week, just two of the 1,056 Circa LVFC teams remain undefeated. Team Mitchell (5th), and Marvel Rocks (148th) are all still perfect with an 11-0 record. Marvel Rocks will clinch the Best Record in the Circa LVFC 9/3 1 PM league if they win their H2H match against team Love SZN (9-3) this week.

After 15 teams reached the 200-point plateau last week, just three teams topped that mark this week. If the three-week playoff round started this week, just 21.80 points would separate the top 100 LVFC scoring teams. That is up slightly from 18.99 points last week.

Dynasty Fantasy World Championship Tournament

Some big numbers altered the overall standings in the DFWC Tournament as well. Ten Top 20 squads posted at least 173.2 points. That includes two teams that moved into the Top 5, plus the four new teams that joined the Top 20 Leaderboard.

Classic Wizard (9-2) stumbled slightly but retained first place for a seventh straight week. Ben Forster’s DFWC 21 squad posted 150.55 points, and his overall lead dropped from 91.85 to 59.15 points. Very close to his first-place total (2045.0) at this point last season; Ben has 2026.25 total points, plus an impressive 184.20 weekly points average.

Back in the Top 5, for the first time since Week 3, Ehuds Sword (8-3) moved from sixth to second overall. Brian Willey’s DFWC 47 teams racked up 205.4 points. That was the fourth-highest point total posted during DFWC Week 11 action. After snapping a three-game losing streak, back during Week 6 action, Ehuds Sword has won six straight H2H matches and has averaged 186.6 points over the last six weeks.

Entering the Top 5, for the first time this season, Unsolicited Dak Pics (9-3) jumped from eighth to third place overall. Rob Fantauzzo’s DFWC 36 team scored 176.15 points. Since moving into the Top 20, back in Week 6, that team has also been very consistent. Over the last six weeks, with 160.3 as the low score, Unsolicited Dak Pics has averaged 177.37 points per week.

Slipping two positions, Filly Cheese V dropped from second to fourth overall. Josh Filipek’s DFWC 51 team scored 152.55 points. QB Dak Prescott, RB Christian McCaffrey, and WR Keenan Allen continue to lead the way. Another consistent squad, Filly Cheese V (11-0) remains undefeated and has been in the top four for six straight weeks now. Moving closer to sweeping the Best Record and Most Points league prizes, Josh faces The Horseman (10-1) in a DFWC 51 H2H showdown this week.

Rounding out the Top 5, KM ENTERPRISE 2130 3 slipped from third to fifth overall. Keeping their undefeated streak alive, Kyle and Adam Knapp’s DFWC 25 (11-0) team posted 152.0 points. Leading their league, by 220.40 points, Kyle and Adam are moving closer to sweeping the DFWC 25 regular season prizes for a third straight year. If the playoffs started this week, KM ENTERPRISE 2130 3 would be just 8.52 points out of first place overall.

Our DFWC “Shout Out of the Week” goes to A. Kheel Dynasty 1 (205.7), Do It (205.55), KM ENTERPRISE 2130 2 (205.55), Ehuds Sword (205.4) and Weber Variant 3 (202.15), who were the only DFWC teams to top 200 points during Week 11. All five teams moved into, or further secured, a playoff position in their individual leagues.

The DFWC undefeated ranks dropped from 14 to 9 teams, and five of them are in the overall Top 20. Another 36 teams currently own a playoff position with a 10-1 record. If the playoffs started this week, 28.45 points would separate the top 100 DFWC scoring teams. Closing slightly, that gap was 30.70 points last week.

FullTime Fantasy SuperFlex Bowl Tournament

Scoring dipped in the second-annual SFB Tournament as well. After 77,408.65 combined points were scored last week, the 552 SFB teams posted 73610.30 points during Week 11 action. Apart from the fourth and fifth-place teams, who swapped positions, the top seven squads remain in place from last week. Two new teams joined the Top 20 Leaderboard.

Team Project Bluebeam is our overall SFB leader for the seventh straight week. Ryan Kania’s SFB 40 team posted 156.25 points and continues to carry an impressive 180.73 points per week average. Brock Purdy (30.05) and C.J. Stroud (21.7) led the way for Project Bluebeam who leads SFB 40 by 245.10 points. The battle for the final playoff spot is close in that league. In that race, The 8c ElliptiGOer (Royce Scobey) and Redzone (Bruce Lamb) are separated by just 29.60 points.

For a second straight week, Bronko SFB 07 remains in second place overall. After averaging 189.04 points, over the previous five weeks, Ken Brzozowski’s SFB 8 team cooled down a little and posted 165.95 points. Entering the week 35.75 points out of first, Bronko SFB 07 did manage to trim the overall deficit down to 26.05 points.

Despite a down week, compared to his 175.74 ten-week average, ArchEnemy retained third overall. Terry Ream’s SFB 9 squad posted 140.65 points, which is his lowest total this season. WR Stefon Diggs scoring 6.40 and 6.70 points, over the last two weeks, is a trend Terry would like to see end. The good news for ArchEnemy is he still leads his league by 95.35 points over the second-place team and 184.50 points over the third-place team.

Climbing one spot, Team Operation RayEpps moved from fifth to fourth overall. Ryan Kania’s SFB 38 team had another big week, with 174.45 points, and sits 88.70 points behind his Project Bluebeam squad. QB Brook Purdy and WR Jakobi Meyers are the only players that Ryan has on both of his Top 4 teams.

After moving from 29th to eighth in Week 9, and then up to fourth last week, Steel City 2 slipped one position and rounds out the top five. Brent Hoppe’s SFB 45 team posted 153.35 points. That total was close to the 159.63 Week 11 Top 20 average, and 20 points better than the 133.35 points the 552 SFB teams averaged as a group.

Our SFB “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Jody Smith. His SFB 19 HUNTER RENFROW’S LAPTOP squad racked up 205.25 points. That was the highest Week 11 SuperFlex Bowl total and moved Jody from 14th to eighth in the overall standings. Brian Nutt wasn’t far behind with 201.90 points. Brian’s Always Smooth 5 squad has jumped from 56th, to 22nd and now ninth overall, during the last three weeks

After 11 squads scored at least 200 points last week, just three teams reached that plateau during Week 11. If the playoffs started this week, just 29.9 points would separate the 92 qualifying teams. The gap closed some after sitting at 32.9 points last week
