A two-way star who also excelled at basketball and track at Eureka High School in Eureka, Missouri, Haskins was an unheralded three-star recruit who signed as a runningback with Michigan. Spent 2018 redshirt season converting to linebacker before going back to offense as a sophomore. Had multiple 100-plus yard outings and finished 2019 with 622 rushing yards and six scores. Broke out in 2021, earning First-team All-Big Ten and Second-team All-American accolades after rushing for 1,327 yards, snagging 18 passes, and scoring 20 times.
