SS Elvis Andrus, Texas Rangers

Andrus has a fractured right elbow and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks from the time he went on the DL on April 13. He has been hitting soft-toss and could be cleared for batting practice this week.

SP Chris Archer, Tampa Bay Rays

Archer has a sore groin and is questionable to make his next start.

Garcia is on the DL with a right hamstring strain. An MRI showed there’s still a strain and he had PRP injections.

OF Leury Garcia, Chicago White Sox

Garcia is on the 10-day DL with a left knee sprain.

SP Miguel Gonzalez, Chicago White Sox

He is on the DL with right rotator cuff inflammation and has been shut down from throwing.

OF Kevin Kiermaier, Tampa Bay Rays

Kiermaier has a torn ligament in his right thumb and is expected to miss 8-12 weeks.

SP Francisco Liriano, Detroit Tigers

He is on the DL with a right hamstring strain. He likely needs a rehab start before returning and it could happen this week.

1B Joe Mauer, Minnesota Twins

He is on the DL with concussion-like symptoms. He ran and took batting practice Sunday.

C Brian McCann, Houston Astros

McCann was placed on the 10-day DL with right knee soreness.

RP Andrew Miller, Cleveland Indians

Miller was placed on the 10-day DL with right knee inflammation. He had a bullpen session Sunday.

SP Jordan Montgomery, New York Yankees

Montgomery is on the DL with a left elbow strain. He threw on flat ground Saturday.

OF Tyler Naquin, Cleveland Indians

Naquin is on the 10-day DL with a left hamstring strain and started a rehab assignment.

RP Darren O’Day, Baltimore Orioles

O’Day is on the DL with a hyper extended right elbow.

2B Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox

Pedroia is back on the DL with left knee inflammation.

SP Martin Perez, Texas Rangers

Perez was placed on the 10-day DL with discomfort in his right elbow. He had surgery on the non-throwing elbow in December and has began throwing bullpens.

OF Josh Reddick, Houston Astros

He is on the DL with a left leg infection and has started a rehab assignment and could return in the middle of the week.

SP Carlos Rodon, Chicago White Sox

Rodon struck out eight batters in five innings in a rehab start at Triple-A Sunday. He could return this weekend.

SP Ervin Santana, Minnesota Twins

Santana is on a rehab assignment and was removed due to a setback.

SP Matt Shoemaker, Los Angeles Angels

Shoemaker has right forearm surgery last week and is out indefinitely.

SP Marcus Stroman, Toronto Blue Jays

Stroman is on the DL with right shoulder fatigue and has started to throw bullpens.

SP Andrew Triggs, Oakland Athletics

Triggs is on the DL with right arm nerve irritation and has started playing catch.

SP Jordan Zimmermann, Detroit Tigers

Zimmermann is on the 10-day DL with a right shoulder impingement and is on a rehab assignment


NATIONAL LEAGUE.

OF Ronald Acuna, Atlanta Braves

Acuna was placed on the 10-day DL with a mild ACL sprain in his left knee and a lower back contusion. He has yet to begin baseball activities.

SP Homer Bailey, Cincinnati Reds

Bailey was placed  on the DL with right knee inflammation.

1B Brandon Belt, San Francisco Giants

Belt had an appendectomy and is expected to miss about three weeks.

OF Yoenis Cespedes, New York Mets

Cespedes is on the DL with a mild right hip flexor strain and is expected to take batting practice Tuesday.

OF Franchy Cordero, San Diego Padres

Cordero was placed on the 10-day DL with a right forearm strain.

SS J.P. Crawford, Philadelphia Phillies

He is out with a strained right forearm and is on a rehab assignment. He is 4-for-20.

SP Johnny Cueto, San Francisco Giants

Cueto has right elbow inflammation and is expected to miss eight weeks. He was placed on the 60-day DL and threw from 120 feet on Sunday.

OF David Dahl, Colorado Rockies

Dahl was placed on the DL with a right foot fracture.

SP Yu Darvish, Chicago Cubs

Darvish is out with right triceps tendonitis. There’s no timetable for his return.

Edwards is on the DL with right shoulder inflammation.

Flores was placed on the DL with lower back soreness.

3B Todd Frazier, New York Mets

Frazier is on the DL with a left hamstring strain. He is scheduled to return Tuesday.

RP Luke Gregerson, St. Louis Cardinals

Gregerson is on the DL with a right shoulder impingement.

C Austin Hedges, San Diego Padres

Hedges is out with right elbow tendonitis and was shut down last week after having pain in the elbow. He has been cleared to resume baseball activities, but hasn’t yet.

SP Jeremy Hellickson, Washington Nationals

Hellickson left his start Sunday after one batter with a strained right hamstring.

SP Rich Hill, Los Angeles Dodgers

Hill is out with a blister on his left middle finger. He threw a simulated game on May 26 and is expected to be back in late June.

RP Greg Holland, St. Louis Cardinals

Holland is on the DL with a right hip impingement.

OF Rhys Hoskins, Philadelphia Phillies

Hoskins has a fractured jaw and was placed on the 10-day DL.

Leone is out with right upper arm nerve irritation. He does not need surgery and is out indefinitely.

SP Joey Lucchesi, San Diego Padres

He is on the DL with a right hip strain. He threw on flat ground last week and is expected to miss at least one more week.

SP Kenta Maeda, Los Angeles Dodgers

Maeda is on the DL with a right hip strain.

SP Wade Miley, Milwaukee Brewers

Miley is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a right oblique strain as of May 10.

SP Shelby Miller, Arizona Diamondbacks

Miller is on a rehab assignment and is expected to return by the end of June.

C Yadier Molina, St. Louis Cardinals

Molina had groin surgery May 5 and is expected to return Tuesday.

2B Daniel Murphy, Washington Nationals

Murphy is recovering from right knee microfracture surgery in October and started a rehab assignment. There were reports he’s not moving well laterally.

OF Wil Myers, San Diego Padres

Myers is out with a left oblique strain and will likely return in early July.

RP Adam Ottavino, Colorado Rockies

Ottavino was placed on the DL with a left oblique strain. He has started playing catch.

OF A.J. Pollock, Arizona Diamondbacks

Pollock has a left thumb fracture and a CT scan showed progress but not enough to remove the soft cast. He’s three weeks into the projected 4-8 weeks missed.

Prado is going to miss several weeks with a left hamstring strain.

RP A.J. Ramos, New York Mets

Ramos was placed on the DL with a right shoulder strain.

SP Robbie Ray, Arizona Diamondbacks

Ray is on the DL with a right oblique strain and threw a 35-pitch bullpen Monday. He is scheduled to throw another Wednesday and could be cleared to face hitters if that goes well.

SP Alex Reyes, St. Louis Cardinals

Reyes made his season debut last week, but left after four innings due to a lat injury and was placed on the DL.

SP Hyun-Jin Ryu, Los Angels Dodgers

Ryu tore the groin muscle off the bone and is expected to be back after the All-Star break. He is close to throwing a bullpen.

SP Jeff Samardzija, San Francisco Giants

He is on the 10-day DL with right shoulder tightness. He played catch Monday.

SP Mike Soroka, Atlanta Braves

Soroka is out with right shoulder inflammation and is on a rehab assignment. He’s expected to make two more rehab starts before joining the Braves.

OF Steven Souza, Arizona Diamondbacks

Souza is on the DL with right pectoral soreness. He had a follow-up MRI Monday that showed healing but not enough to increase physical activity.

SP Noah Syndergaard, New York Mets

Syndergaard has a strained ligament in his right index finger and is on the DL. He is scheduled to return Sunday against the Yankees.

SP Julio Teheran, Atlanta Braves

Teheran left his start Monday night with a right thumb contusion. He suffered the injury when he got jammed on a pitch in the fifth inning.

1B Eric Thames, Milwaukee Brewers

He had surgery to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb and is expected to return in late June. He started to rehab in Arizona two weeks ago and is expected to begin a rehab assignment soon.

2B Chase Utley, Los Angeles Dodgers

Utley is on the DL with a sprained left thumb.

SP Adam Wainwright, St. Louis Cardinals

Wainwright is on the 60-day DL with right elbow inflammation.

C Matt Wieters, Washington Nationals

Wieters is on the DL with a left hamstring strain. He had surgery to remove a tendon on May 17.

1B Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals

Zimmerman is on the DL with back soreness and is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment this week.
