Only 7 games on the main slate tonight. Great MLB slate though for mid September.
PITCHING
Zach Greinke … Greinke is facing Bumgarner which will drive his ownership way down tonight. However, MadBum has not been right all year and it’s clear he wont be until next season. Greinke on the other hand is pitching one of his better seasons and in this ballpark (SF) and against that lineup (trash) is my top guy today.
Jacob deGrom … I’m not paying more for deGrom on the road in a hitters park than I would for Greinke, but if you want some higher strikeout upside then this is your spot. But, don’t ask me why he isn’t on my FanDuel rosters. Because I am all in for Greinke on FanDuel. On DK, I want both together or Greinke plus one of the SNEAKY/SP2 guys.
SNEAKY ARMS / SP2
Parker Bridwell … We quickly forget that the Rangers on the road against RHP have been bad all year and Bridwell comes in really cheap tonight on DK giving us a nice pairing to load up for the Rockies bats.
Marco Estrada … Rain concerns here but I like Estrada’s soft stuff against the Twins.
FAVORITE STACKS
Rockies … Jordan Lyles has never had much luck getting swings and misses (yes, that’s important for a pitcher unlike what long haired morons who have intelligence envy touted earlier this MLB season. BTW… If your early or mid season baseball tout is now touting their NFL model and not saying anything about baseball still then they’re a fraud…)… I digress. Rockies. Chalk. And will do well tonight.
Mets … Asdrubal, Nimmo, and any other lefty they roll out against Dickey…..
Athletics … Park shift remains strong. Righties get in on the act today. Specifically Khrush Davis.
