Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 12. We will continually update this list.
Week 12 Byes: None
Joe Burrow (QB) Cincinnati Bengals – The most devastating blow of Week 11 was the superstar signal-caller Joe Burrow, who was in the middle of a hot streak. A seemingly innocuous wrist injury ended up being a season-ender. Losing Burrow will be the death knell for Cicinnati’s middling postseason changes. Also, it will have huge fantasy ramifications. And not just to Burrow managers. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are bound to drop off with Jake Browning under center.
Mark Andrews (TE) Baltimore Ravens – Andrews had his ankle rolled up in what looked like a season-ending play. However, positive news came out Monday that Andrews may avoid IR. For now, expect him to be considered week-to-week with a good shot at being healthy for the fantasy playoffs. Also, Isaiah Likely is the player to target on the Week 12 waiver wire.
Kenneth Walker (RB) Seattle Seahawks – Pete Carrol has not updated us yet on Walker’s status. But, with Seattle scheduled to host San Francisco on Thursday night, it seems safe to rule Walker out for Week 12. There is optimism that this is not a long-term oblique injury. Subsequently, in games that Walker misses, Zach Charbonnet has RB1 upside.
You see Ken Walker reach for his lower left abdomen. Classically oblique related.
Generally these injuries don’t last longer than 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed. pic.twitter.com/2Eltpu8MwH

Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Jones appeared to suffer a major knee injury, emotionally leaving the field on a cart. However, the Monday update stated that Jones sprained his MCL and is week-to-week. But, with Green Bay due to play in Detroit on Thursday morning, it is safe to rule Jones out for Week 12.

Michael Thomas (WR) New Orleans Saints – New Orleans placed Thomas on IR with a knee injury. That means that Thomas will miss a minimum of four games, which means he’s out until the fantasy semi-finals.
De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins – The long-awaited return of the goat didn’t last long. Achane reaggravated his existing knee injury after just two touches. There have not been any updates out of South Beach. But we anticipate a multi-week absence for Achane.
Salvon Ahmed (RB) Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins also placed Salvon Ahmed on IR with an ankle injury. With De’Von Achane also out, expect Jeff Wilson to be more involved as the club’s RB2.
Luke Musgrave (TE) Green Bay Packers – Mike LeFleur said that Luke Musgrave suffered a significant abdominal injury and is currently hospitalized. Seems certain that Musgrave will miss time. Tucker Kraft would be a replacement to target on the waiver wire.
Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Another impactful early exit, Kupp suffered a sprained ankle and was unable to return during the Rams’ Week 11 victory over Seattle. Fortunately, it is not a high-ankle sprain. Kupp is day-to-day.
Josh Downs (WR) Indianapolis Colts – Downs has been paying through an ankle injury that originally happened in training camp. However, Downs has played in every game so far and hopes that the well-timed Week 11 bye for the Colts will allow him to be at or near 100% for the fantasy playoff stretch drive.
Geno Smith (QB) Seattle Seahawks – Smith missed some second-half snaps in Week 11 with an elbow ailment. However, Smith finished the game and is expected to start Seattle’s Thursday contest. We will tag Smith as a “watch practice reports” in the Week 12 fantasy football rankings.
Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings designated Jefferson to return from IR last week. However, the club decided to rest their superstar wideout against Denver. Head coach Kevin O’Connell deemed Jefferson as questionable for Week 12. We should know more as the week progresses and will keep the FullTime Fantasy Discord updated.
Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Some good news. The Rams are expected to welcome Kyren Williams back this week. Before going on IR with an ankle injury, Williams was dominating touches. He still leads all running backs with an 82% snap share. However, Royce Freeman carved out a role while Williams was out. It remains to be seen how the touches will be divided starting this week.
Antonio Gibson (RB) Washington Commanders – Another veteran back who sat in Week 10, Gibson is back practicing in full and should be back for the Commanders’ Thursday afternoon tilt in Dallas.
