Circa Survivor Report: Week 11
FAVORITES BOUNCE BACK
After underdogs finished an amazing 11-3 Against the Spread (ATS) in Week 10, favorites bounced back posting a 9-5 in ATS mark this week. Despite going 10-4 straight-up (SU), two of the four upsets left several of those remaining in Circa’s Survivor contest crying the blues. We break it down with our Circa Survivor Report: Week 11.
All of the remaining 105 contestants, as expected, backed chalk to emerge victorious in Week 11. However, fading Seattle and New Orleans proved costly.
The Seahawks’ 20-17 upset of the 49ers as 6.5-point road underdogs eliminated four contestants.

Facing a 17-13 deficit, 3.8% of the pool were left heartbroken when dreams of a $14 million score went up in smoke after Geno Smith capped off an 80-yard drive with a 13-yard touchdown run with just 12 seconds remaining in the game.

The Browns, which were the least selected team, knocked out two contestants after suffering a shocking 35-14 road loss at New Orleans.

The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the season.
In the quest for the biggest Survivor prize in history ($14,266,000), contestants in Week 12 will likely be heavily backing: Detroit (-8) at Indianapolis, Kansas City (-11) at Carolina, Washington (-10) vs Dallas, Miami (-7) vs New England and Houston (-8) vs Tennessee.
From a betting perspective, favorites hold a sizable 114-52 SU (68.7%) and 85-78-3 ATS (52.1%) edge. Home teams hold a slim 84-77 SU (52.2%) advantage (five international games). Meanwhile, road teams hold the coveted 86-72-3 ATS (54.4%) edge.
