Fantasy Football: Week 17 Deep Sleepers

Here are your Week 17 Deep Sleepers from Senior Fantasy Football Expert Adam Ronis in case if you are in need of a hail mary play.

QB Josh Allen vs. MIA

Allen looks to finish the season on a high note at home against a bad Dolphins defense. After rushing for at least 99 yards in three straight games, Allen has been held to 14 carries for 46 yards the last two weeks against the Lions and Dolphins. Allen faced the Dolphins in Week 13 and went 18-for-33 for 231 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions and rushed for 135 yards on nine carries.

RB Darren Sproles @WAS

Sproles was used heavily last week, playing 50 percent of the snaps. He had 12 touches for 108 yards, including a 37-yard receiving touchdown. Since coming off the injured reserve in Week 13, Sproles has scored three times in four games. The Eagles used Sproles more on the ground last week with a season-high nine carries.

RB Jeff Wilson @LAR

Matt Breida is out for Week 17, and Wilson is going to get most of the touches. When Breida sat in Week 14, Wilson played 86 percent of the snaps and had 23 carries for 90 yards and a six-yard catch with the 49ers playing from ahead. The 49ers will likely be playing from behind leading to more receptions. Wilson had eight receptions for 73 yards in Week 13 against the Seahawks after replacing Breida in that game. The Rams allow 4.79 yards per carry.

WR Robert Foster vs. MIA

Foster has at least 94 receiving yards in four of the last six games. He would have made it five games last week if he didn’t lose an 82-yard touchdown in the sun. Josh Allen is consistently taking shots downfield to Foster. The Dolphins have been prone to big plays and Foster is a good play in DFS, too.

WR Jamison Crowder vs. PHI

Crowder has been the receiver Josh Johnson looks to most with 24 percent of the target share. Over the last three games, Crowder has 18 targets. He has 11 receptions for 211 yards with a touchdown the previous three games. Josh Doctson is questionable with an illness, and Vernon Davis is out. Crowder could see a few more targets if Doctson is out. The Eagles allow the third-most Fantasy points to wide receivers.

TE Jason Croom vs. MIA

Croom played a season-high 72 percent of the snaps last week for the Bills. He had four catches for 55 yards on six targets. The Dolphins have allowed nine touchdowns to tight ends.
