PITCHING
Hill – gets a good matchup against a bad Mets team, while also being priced down. Went 6 innings last start and fought out of some trouble. Hes better on the road with a 2.70 era while shutting down lefties to just a .207 average a 0 hole runs. (Risk factor 4)
German – he’s pitched really well striking out at least 9 in his last 3 starts, one of which being against this same team. There’s not much pop in this lineup aside for maybe Cron, so again the upside is high for German. He’s also gets a positive ball park shift at Tampa. (Risk factor 4)
Berrios – nice matchup here for Jose, getting a strikeout prone Texas team at home where he’s much better. 2.93 era to go along with his 29.3% k rate. He’s is the 3rd highest priced pitcher today on FanDuel, but he does have the double digit k potential. (Risk factor 4)
Weaver – this is extremely risky because he struggles with giving up the long ball to lefties. If we roster him, let’s hope Thames, Shaw or Yelich are out to lessen our nerves. There’s some strikeout potential here, but we’re really rostering him for his 6K salary to fit bats. (Risk factor 7)
STACKS
LAD – Jason Vargas was put on the DL, so now they’ll face Chris Flexen. Simply put…..he sucks too. All dodgers are in play here with Munch and Bellinger leading the way.
MINNESOTA – Colon against these Lefties??? Yikes! Rosario and Escobar both homer today.
Milwaukee – Yes I know I said to use Weaver, but if all the lefties are in this could get ugly quick. Lefties are the play with Aguilar.
Oakland – Rodon struggles Is decent at home, but does have his struggles against righties. This team is loaded with righties that can mash. Lowrie, Davis, Semien, Canha, Pinder, Piscotty
Chc- They lit Romano up for 7 runs a few weeks back. Lefties hit him for average and righties finish him off with Power. Heyward is hot and I can see a Rizzo bomb or 2 today. Lefties then Baez and Russell.
Atlanta – great spot here for the lefties, with Hess struggling to get them out. Lots of power and lots of runs I’d expect today. All the lefties in play. Inciarte my favorite today.
