AMERICAN LEAGUE

SS Xander Bogaerts, Boston Red Sox

Bogaerts has a small fracture in his left ankle and he’s expected to miss 10-14 days.

OF Lonnie Chisenhall, Cleveland Indians

Chisenhall was placed on the 10-day DL with a right calf strain. He had the same issue in the spring and it popped up again. Manager Terry Francona said Chisenhall could miss 4-6 weeks.

DH Nelson Cruz, Seattle Mariners

Cruz is on the 10-day DL with a right ankle sprain and is eligible to return Friday.

3B Brandon Drury, New York Yankees

Drury is on the DL with severe migraines and blurred vision.

1B Yuli Gurriel, Houston Astros

Gurriel is on a rehab assignment as he recovers from surgery in February when his hamate bone was removed. He is eligible to return Friday.

1B/3B Ryon Healy, Seattle Mariners

Healy was in a walking boot and on crutches Sunday and placed on the 10-day DL with a right ankle injury.

OF Aaron Hicks, New York Yankees

Hicks is on the 10-day DL with a right intercostal muscle strain. He could be activated this week.

OF Kevin Kiermaier, Tampa Bay Rays

Kiermaier fouled a ball off his foot Sunday and X-rays were negative. He missed Monday and Tuesday and is expected to return this week.

2B Ian Kinsler, Los Angeles Angels

Kinsler was placed on the DL with a groin injury on March 31. He is scheduled to return this week.

2B Brad Miller, Tampa Bay Rays

Miller was placed on the 10-day DL with a groin strain.

2B Rougned Odor, Texas Rangers

Odor aggravated a left hamstring injury Monday night and is heading to the disabled list. Jurickson Profar will fill in at second base.

C Salvador Perez, Kansas City Royals

Perez has a Grade 2 MCL tear and is recovering well. He could return at the end of the month.

SS Chad Pinder, Oakland Athletics

Pinder landed on the DL with a left knee hyperextension.

SP Drew Pomeranz, Boston Red Sox

He has a mild flexor tendon strain in his left elbow and made his first rehab start Sunday. He will make another rehab start with Double-A Portland Friday and if that goes well, he could return to the Red Sox next week.

OF Boog Powell, Oakland Athletics

Powell was placed on the 10-day DL with a right knee sprain.

SP J.C. Ramirez, Los Angeles Angels

Ramirez felt tightness in his right forearm in a start on Saturday and will have Tommy John surgery. He is out for the season.

OF Colby Rasmus, Baltimore Orioles

He was placed on the 10-day DL with a left hip flexor strain.

SP CC Sabathia, New York Yankees

Sabathia is on the DL with a right hip strain.

SP Matt Shoemaker, Los Angeles Angels

Shoemaker is on the 10-day DL with a right forearm strain.

OF Mark Trumbo, Baltimore Orioles

Trumbo is on the DL with a right quad strain.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

C Tyler Flowers, Atlanta Braves

Flowers in on the 10-day DL with a left oblique strain and likely won’t return until early May.

3B Jedd Gyorko, St. Louis Cardinals

Gyorko is on the 10-day DL with a right hamstring strain.

RP Corey Knebel, Milwaukee Brewers

Knebel has a left hamstring strain and is expected to miss six weeks.

3B Jake Lamb, Arizona Diamondbacks

Lamb was placed on the 10-day DL with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder.

SP Dinelson Lamet, San Diego Padres

Lamet played catch from 90 feet on Sunday for the fourth straight day. He is on the DL with a sore elbow, and there’s no timetable for a return.

2B Daniel Murphy, Washington Nationals

Murphy is recovering from right knee microfracture surgery in October. He took infield practice last week and is expected to run the bases full speed this week.

SP Joe Musgrove, Pittsburgh Pirates

Musgrove has been dealing with a sore shoulder since the spring and he will require multiple rehab starts before he can return to the Pirates.

OF Wil Myers, San Diego Padres

Myers is on the DL with right arm nerve irritation. He is eligible to return Friday, but won’t be ready. He hasn’t been cleared to throw or swing a bat.

C J.T. Realmuto, Miami Marlins

Realmuto started the season on the DL with a back injury and he has begun catching and swinging drills. He could return in two weeks.

1B Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs

Rizzo was placed on the 10-day DL with a lower back injury, retroactive to April 6. The Cubs hope he will return when first eligible on Monday April 16.

SP Jeff Samardzija, San Francisco Giants

He’s on the DL with a right pectoral strain and hopes to return April 19. He pitched in an extended spring training game Monday and will make a rehab start Saturday. If all goes well, he will be back the next week.

OF Scott Schebler, Cincinnati Reds

Schebler was placed on the 10-day DL with a right elbow contusion.

OF Steven Souza, Arizona Diamondbacks

Souza is out with a pectoral injury and he’s throwing and taking batting practice and took part in an extended spring training game Monday. He felt soreness in the pectoral muscle and will be shut down for a few days.

3B Eugenio Suarez, Cincinnati Reds

Suarez was hit by a pitch on Sunday and he has a fractured right thumb. He will be out several weeks.

C Matt Wieters, Washington Nationals

Wieters was placed on the 10-day DL with a left oblique strain. He began hitting off a tee over the weekend.

OF Christian Yelich, Milwaukee Brewers

Yelich was placed on the 10-day DL with an oblique injury. The average oblique injury costs a player around three weeks. Yelich tried to swing a bat Saturday and didn’t feel good. He is eligible to return April 15.
