Plays of the Day
Value: Richaun Holmes will likely see low ownership because Joel Embiid is expected to play tonight, but Trevor Booker (ankle) remains out and Sixers HC Brett Brown clearly began to see more in Holmes, as he started the second half last night and continued to provide steady production.
Fade: Ben Simmons has been a bit inconsistent of late and the Sixers studs are a little risky since they’re favored by 8.5 points at home against a listless Kings team tonight. Sacramento’s defense has been decent, especially in terms of cutting off driving lanes, so Simmons might fail to meet value tonight.
Point Guard
George Hill – (4,600 DK/4,700 FD)
With De’Aaron Fox (quad) hobbled a bit, Hill has regained his status as the Kings lead guard, playing 28, 30 and 33 minutes over his last three appearances. It’s almost necessary to save at PG tonight with so many studs available at PG and he’s been able to exceed value in consecutive games, so give him a look in a plus matchup against the Sixers.
John Wall ($8.8k, $9.5k) is worth using in tournaments, especially as a correlation play alongside DeMarcus Cousins. Both players will be motivated to go head to head.
Eric Bledsoe ($6.7k, $7.1k) is worth a look against a Cavs team that’s been vulnerable against athletic PGs, although Malcolm Brogdon ($4.8k, $4.9k) is far more affordable with decent upside as a mid-tier option.
Shooting Guard
E’Twaun Moore – (4,500 DK/4,600 FD)
Moore can provide another way to save salary in the backcourt in an effort to pay up for Boogie Cousins, LeBron James or perhaps Joel Embiid tonight. He’s been up-and-down for the Pelicans lately, but could see extended run down the stretch against a the Wizards dynamic backcourt since he’s a superior defender to Rajon Rondo
Bradley Beal ($7.7k, $8.4k) is a solid cash play and would be worth paying up for in most formats if Otto Porter (hip) is unable to play tonight.
You can use Dwyane Wade ($4.8k, $4.8k) as a value provided he returns after resting on Sunday and Jrue Holiday ($7.8k, $7.7k) will be worth a look in tournaments, especially if Anthony Davis misses this game or departs early with one of his trademark injuries.

Small Forward
Â
LeBron James – (11,600 DK/12,000 FD)
It’s a tough call between LeBron and Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11.4k, $12.3k) at forward and even though Giannis produced more FPs in their previous two meetings, I’ll take The King right now since he’s averaging a triple double over his last seven appearances and absolutely carrying the streaking Cavs.
Robert Covington ($6.6k, $7.4k) is relatively cheap on DK in a plus matchup against a Kings team that ranks 28th in opponents 3PT shooting (.382%).
 Your best values at this position could be Kelly Oubre Jr. ($4.7k, $4.6k) if Otto Porter is inactive and perhaps Jeff Green ($4.3k, $4.6k) is a low-ceiling option off the Cavs bench. Â
Power Forward
Richaun Holmes – (4,400 DK/4,100 FD)
Again, there are obvious top plays tonight and DeMarcus Cousins is the best option on DK at $10.7k, but if you need to save salary alongside the high-priced big men, consider Holmes as a great source of salary relief. He’ll likely see low ownership because Joel Embiid is expected to play tonight, but Trevor Booker (ankle) remains out and Sixers HC Brett Brown clearly began to see more in Holmes, as he started the second half last night and continued to provide steady production.
Zach Randolph ($6.4k, $7.0k) has slowed lately but is still the top option on a defunct Kings offense. He’ll likely face off with Dario Saric ($6.1k, $6.6k), providing good results for both players on offense.
Kevin Love ($7.9k, $8.0k) is worth a look in tournaments only as a great rebounder facing a weak Bucks front line. However, his offense still depends on getting open threes and that’s far from reliable.
 Consider Mike Scott ($4.5k, $4.6k) as a GPP value play since he continues to outplay Markieff Morris on the Wizards.
Center
DeMarcus Cousins – (10,700 DK/11,000 FD)
Here is where you spend your tonight with either Boogie or Joel Embiid ($9.9k, $11.5k) in fantastic matchups. Cousins should be able to dominate struggling Wizards center Marcin Gortat and he should be highly motivated to beat his former teammate and good friend John Wall. Anthony Davis is perpetually listed as questionable on Vegas lines and if he misses this game obviously Cousins would see a huge boost, but he’s a great play regardless.
John Henson ($5.5k, $5.5k) is a decent value worth considering, but it would be foolish not to pay up for either Boogie or Embiid tonight.
