FULLTIME FANTASY · WEEK 8 · PPR

Tonight’s lineup calls, then the biggest swings we’re taking against the consensus.

Let’s handle tonight. Carolina visits Green Bay at 8:15 p.m. Eastern.

Thursday night: get the lineup right

Week 8 PPR · Quarterbacks: four-point passing touchdowns
Player Fulltime FantasyPros
Jordan Love QB12 QB8
Bryce Young QB17 QB13
Josh Jacobs RB10 RB11
Chuba Hubbard RB14 RB8
Jalen Coker WR25 WR15

Love is a lower-end QB1; use a higher-ranked quarterback if you have one. Young fits superflex or two-QB leagues. Christian Watson, WR9 on both boards, is an automatic start.

Kraft is TE12 for us and TE3 at FantasyPros. TE12 is a solid starter in a 12-team league. But if you already roster a tight end we rank higher, use that player. Do not start Kraft just because he plays tonight. We project 11.4 PPR points.

Golden remains questionable with shoulder and foot injuries. The Packers’ final Wednesday report lists walkthrough estimates of DNP, DNP and limited. He has 32 targets in three games. Have a replacement ready and check the inactives; we cannot simply hand all his targets to Watson or Kraft if he sits.

Jacobs is an RB1; Hubbard an RB2. Coker is a lineup-dependent WR3/flex. Tetairoa McMillan, our WR14, is also a useful start. The Panthers’ final report gives neither Coker nor Bryce Young a game designation. Tonight uses the final report and inactives; Thursday practice updates matter for Sunday.

Four places we are higher than the room

In Circa Fantasy Football World Championships and NFFC leagues, a few close lineup decisions can decide the week. These are positional PPR ranks. The injury-sensitive calls need another look before kickoff.

Braelon Allen: RB7 assuming Hall sits

Fulltime RB7 assuming Hall sits · FantasyPros RB26 · 19 spots higher

We’re extremely bullish on Allen at RB7, with a 20.8-point projection, assuming Breece Hall sits. Hall has not been ruled out. Allen’s last four snap shares are 94%, 86%, 87% and 78%, and the Raiders rate 26th in our RB matchup tool.

The Jets’ official Wednesday report lists Breece Hall (quad) and Allen (ankle) as limited. Thursday and Friday entries and final game designations are not yet posted. FantasyPros still has Hall at RB20. Check back with our live rankings through the weekend. If Hall plays, we will adjust the rankings. I expect a split backfield in his first week back, with Allen getting the majority of carries. That is my expectation, not a team announcement.

Tony Pollard: the offense is running through him

Fulltime RB4 · FantasyPros RB18 · 14 spots higher

If you benched Pollard last week, don’t make the same mistake twice. We’re listening, Tony Pollard. Tennessee’s offense is running through him. Start him in all formats. He went from 48% of the snaps in Week 5 to 76% and 75% in Weeks 6 and 7. His 28 touches for 155 scrimmage yards against Cleveland included three rushing touchdowns and three catches for 26 yards. Even after that game, Cleveland has allowed the ninth-fewest PPR points per game to running backs through Week 7. The workload drives this call; the catches add PPR value even when he does not find the end zone. We project 21.8 PPR points against Cincinnati, compared with 13.2 displayed at FantasyPros, an 8.6-point gap.

The Fulltime Points Allowed report shows Cincinnati has allowed RBs three rushing touchdowns and 24 catches in six games through Week 7, four catches per game. Its 18.5 PPR points allowed per game is the third-fewest. We are backing Pollard’s role, not selling Cincinnati as a soft opponent.

The Titans’ official Wednesday report lists Tyjae Spears as DNP with a knee injury, and Thursday reporting says he remained out of practice. He has not been ruled out. Carter played 25% of last week’s snaps, so Pollard does not have a monopoly.

Garrett Wilson: start him with confidence

Fulltime WR5 · FantasyPros WR16 · 11 spots higher

Full disclosure: I’m a Jets fan. This call comes from our projection, not my Jets love. Waiting until the third quarter for Garrett’s first target against Miami was frustrating. He finished with two catches for 26 yards. His last three target totals are 11, six and three. Thinking about benching him? I’m not. Start Garrett Wilson with full confidence. Fulltime projects 23.3 PPR points; the FantasyPros page displays 14.2. That 9.1-point gap is why this is a call worth making.

Las Vegas rates 15th against receivers in our matchup tool. This is a bullish rebound call. There is also trade speculation, although October 28 reporting says Wilson wants to stay and has not requested a trade. I’m still starting him.

Michael Wilson: the matchup is the strongest clue

Fulltime WR7 · FantasyPros WR17 · 10 spots higher

Dallas ranks 32nd, the easiest WR matchup in our tool. Wilson has seven, seven and eight targets over his last three games, and we project 21.6 PPR points.

The ribs issue needs attention: our live tool tags Wilson questionable with limited practice participation. If he is available for his normal role, the matchup supports upside beyond WR2 territory. Recheck Thursday’s report.

Two players to approach more carefully

Jordan Mason: temper expectations

Fulltime RB33 · FantasyPros RB23 · 10 spots lower

Temper expectations here: we project 8.5 PPR points versus the 11.0 displayed at FantasyPros. Mason played 64% of Minnesota’s snaps and had 15 carries for 68 yards last week, but he has no catches in two games. Detroit has allowed the eighth-fewest RB PPR points per game through Week 7.

Watch Aaron Jones’ knee. He was DNP Wednesday, and an absence could give Mason more work. Revisit this ranking if Jones sits; Mason already has a significant role.

Luther Burden: a tougher start in Seattle

Fulltime WR36 · FantasyPros WR20 · 16 spots lower

We have Burden at WR36, not in the WR2 range. This is a matchup call. He followed eight catches for 95 yards in Week 6 with four catches for 130 yards and a touchdown last week. I respect that production. But Monday night in Seattle is a different test. This is a secondary I do not want to attack on the road.

Our Points Allowed report backs up the concern: Seattle has allowed just 21.6 PPR points per game to the entire opposing wide receiver group, the fewest in the NFL through Week 7. That is an all-venues figure, not a home-only split. Compare your alternatives before treating Burden as an automatic start.

My next stop is the Thursday practice report, especially for the Jets’ backfield, Spears, Aaron Jones and Michael Wilson. Keep the live rankings handy. We can take a strong position without pretending an unresolved injury has already been decided.
