WEEK 6 • THURSDAY NIGHT • OCTOBER 15, 2026
Our Thursday plan starts with Troy Franklin in receiving yards and catches, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as our preferred touchdown scorer. Here are the projections, fantasy decisions and GPP builds behind those calls.
Seahawks at Broncos: the setup
Thursday, October 15 • 8:15 p.m. ET • Empower Field at Mile High • Prime Video
The afternoon market check had Seattle favored by 2.5 with a 40.5 total. That’s a modest scoring environment. We want to be selective with touchdown-dependent plays and careful about treating every receiving over as part of the same bet.
The biggest matchup news favors Seattle’s passing game. Denver ruled out Patrick Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga, while Riley Moss is questionable. JSN practiced fully Wednesday and has no game designation. Seattle ruled out Zach Charbonnet, Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt. Check the final inactive lists before locking anything in.
Fantasy starts and sits
These calls use our Week 6 PPR rankings and the current injury report. Your alternatives and scoring still matter.
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba: start with confidence. Our WR4 carries a 23.2-point PPR projection. His ankle designation is cleared, and Denver’s secondary injuries strengthen an already strong case. He is the centerpiece of this preview.
- Emanuel Wilson: a starting option at running back. Our PPR projection is 14.8 points with Charbonnet out. He belongs in the conversation when you’re choosing a second running back or flex.
- Jaylen Waddle: a WR3/flex. We have him at WR28 and 12.1 PPR points. He’s our highest-ranked Denver receiver, though Seattle makes this a tougher spot than the Seattle passing-game matchup.
- RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins: scoring matters. Our PPR projections favor Harvey, 11.6 to 9.7. That supports Harvey as the receiving-friendly flex option. Don’t assume the back with the bigger rushing role automatically offers the better PPR play.
- Courtland Sutton: a lower-end flex. WR45 and 9.5 projected PPR points put him behind Waddle in our rankings. Compare him with your Sunday options rather than starting him on name value.
- Troy Franklin: a deeper-league option. He’s WR53 with 8.2 projected PPR points. A strong prop edge against a low line does not automatically make him an every-league fantasy starter.
- Rashid Shaheed and Cooper Kupp: prefer stronger alternatives. Our WR64 and WR65 both project for 5.9 PPR points. They can matter in single-game tournaments without becoming priority season-long starts.
For a close lineup decision, compare your actual alternatives in our Week 6 rankings. Don’t force a Thursday starter just to have someone in the game.
Our Proptimizer card
Source snapshot: The FullTime Proptimizer board was stamped October 15 at 02:36:29 UTC, or October 14 at 10:36:29 p.m. ET. These are the board’s recorded lines and prices, not a promise that every sportsbook still offers them.
1. Troy Franklin over 16.5 receiving yards
Our projection: 37 yards. Board price: -113. Displayed RDA Edge: +102.5%.
Franklin is the No. 1 standard prop on the TNF-filtered board. The projection sits 20.5 yards above the snapshot line. He needs 17 receiving yards to clear it, so the case doesn’t require a huge fantasy night.
Afternoon price check: A separate market aggregator showed 17.5 yards with the over at -110 at DraftKings when checked around 4:15 p.m. ET. That is a different offer. Our 37-yard projection remains 19.5 yards above that number, but the board’s +102.5% label belongs to 16.5 and must not be carried over to a new line.
2. Troy Franklin over 1.5 receptions
Our projection: 3 catches. Board price: -125. Displayed RDA Edge: +50%.
This is the No. 2 standard prop on the Thursday board and its top receptions play. Two catches cash the over. The afternoon aggregator also showed 1.5 receptions at -125 at FanDuel.
The two Franklin calls share the same risk: Denver has to get him involved. Treat them as related exposure. Putting both into a same-game parlay does not diversify that risk, and the sportsbook’s combined price matters.
3. Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime touchdown
Our top TD play. Projected touchdowns: 1.00. Board price: +115. Model fair odds: -172. Displayed TD RDA Edge: +35.9%.
JSN is the first player displayed on the TNF touchdown board. The injury update gives us a clean starting point, and Denver is missing Surtain and Hufanga. He’s our preferred scorer for this matchup.
The afternoon aggregator showed a best listed price of +110 at BetMGM. Shop the actual price available to you. At +115, the break-even scoring probability is about 46.5%; at +110, it’s about 47.6%. A 1.00 touchdown projection is an expected count, not a 100% chance to score.
Read the model correctly: Standard-prop RDA Edge is a projection-versus-line metric, not a win probability. The TD edge is a modeled return at the displayed price. Neither guarantees a winning bet.
DraftKings Showdown: our GPP build
The live ASK MAX GPP tab produces this Seattle–Denver construction. Salaries below are from that selected Showdown slate; projections were labeled Thursday at 6:15 a.m. ET.
- Captain: Jaxon Smith-Njigba — $17,400
- Flex: Sam Darnold — $9,800
- Flex: Bo Nix — $9,600
- Flex: Jaylen Waddle — $9,000
- Flex: Troy Franklin — $3,000
- Flex: Nate Adkins — $1,200
Total: $50,000. Remaining: $0. Six unique players, one Captain and five Flex spots, with both teams represented. JSN’s Captain salary correctly applies the 1.5 multiplier to his $11,600 Flex salary.
The story is clear: JSN delivers the premium receiving score, Darnold comes with him, and Denver answers through the air. Franklin connects our prop thesis to the DFS build. Adkins is the volatile salary-saving piece that makes the expensive players fit. His $1,200 salary does not create a reliable floor; confirm he’s active and be comfortable with the risk.
This is a projection-based tournament starting point. We have not verified ownership projections, so don’t call it contrarian or assume it will be unique.
A second GPP construction: Seattle’s offense carries the slate
- Captain: Jaxon Smith-Njigba — $17,400
- Flex: Sam Darnold — $9,800
- Flex: Emanuel Wilson — $9,400
- Flex: RJ Harvey — $6,400
- Flex: Troy Franklin — $3,000
- Flex: Rashid Shaheed — $3,600
Total: $49,600. Remaining: $400. This editorial alternative uses the same ASK MAX salary pool. It is not a second optimizer output.
Here we pair Darnold with JSN and Shaheed, keep Wilson for Seattle’s rushing production, and bring it back with Harvey and Franklin. This build needs Seattle’s offense to generate enough production for several teammates to pay off. It gives up the Nix passing points and leans on Denver’s lower-priced receiving options. The unused $400 is intentional; spending every dollar is not a requirement.
The Thursday night plan
JSN is our fantasy anchor and preferred touchdown scorer. Franklin is the value target in both receiving yards and catches, with the line and price checked separately before betting. In GPPs, start with a game script, then choose the correlated pieces that fit it.
Before kickoff: check the official inactive lists, refresh the Proptimizer, and confirm every DFS salary and player in the actual contest. Keep your exposure within a preset budget. Projections are estimates, and every bet and tournament entry can lose.
